Integral Conscious Creation

Exploring how we create body, mind, and spirit in self, culture, and nature
Dinner & A Dead Gal, Session 294

Dinner & A Dead Gal

Participants: Joanne, Paul, Caryn, George, Joyce, Nardine (Heathcote Vic, Australia), Mary (California), and Rumi the cat.

We had another great session this past Saturday evening. Rose spoke for over two hours on a variety of topics. Before the session we were talking about the upcoming US elections, and Rose dove right into the fray.

Rose also said that things can be “fucked up” and they sometimes are. I mentioned the recent financial crisis on Wall St. that pointed to a corrupt business model driven by greed and selfishness that was no longer viable or sustainable. And that produced conversation between the group and Rose on Reaganomics, Barack Obama’s fear of mentioning the Keating Five S&L scandal that John McCain supported in the 1980s, and various corrupt business practices that pass for normal in Washington DC.

Rose circled back, once again, to the importance of the contrary self and its purpose to act towards our best interests by speaking up, acting on what we can control, and promoting the best self we can. The rest will take care of itself, but Rose quoted Seth’s “the point of power is in the present” and it’s important to feel our own power by acting contrary as necessary to stop others from taking undue advantage. She reminded us to not fear what is beyond our direct control, but also to “be careless [carefree] so as to allow your best selves to thrive,” which means do what you can, then let it go.

Rose mentioned that in the current financial climate we need to apply healthy AMBER/BLUE values (in integral terms these are traditional values that promote healthy communities) to help curb the, in my terms, selfish, egocentric, greed, predator/prey, get rich quick scam artists that gamed the mortgage and credit markets to such an extent that they have completely collapsed. This translates into real people losing jobs and their homes, and high paid executives negotiating buyouts, mergers, fire sales, and other strategies to prevent further collapse.

George made a funny comment, he said that Rose was “one fine, fiery broad” as she encouraged the group to feel empowered in the face of such a mass event. I jokingly told Nardine, one of our transcribers, to use that as a title in the transcript (stayed tuned to see if she does J).

clip_image004Rose made an interesting distinction that we need to EXPRESS the contrary and not BE a contrary self. She got a little Zen, but the intent was to show that the contrary self, when being bitchy, pushy, in your face, intrusive, even dare I say BAD, the intent is to be constructive, which means to promote growth and development, not destructive, which is intended to hurt, marginalize, negate, and destroy. Rose suggested we “be mad as hell and not take it anymore” (thinking of the reference to the 1980s movie Network).

Again, the point is constructive action, not destructive action.

Joyce, George, and I had a long riff about who is the “you” who creates, as Rose has been pointing out the essence “calls the shots” which leaves poor old focus or outer ego feeling a bit out of control, and yet, the more I explore mySelf in my fullness, I understand that the “I” who creates ALL my reality is much, much more than my Paulness, though that Aspect has a very important say in the matter! So it’s all about balancing those elements, and learning to let go, and trust and allow what we can’t control. It’s quite a dance!

Rose reminded us that there’s no such thing as perfection, and that we need to address to that limiting belief, because we try to understand the mechanics of reality creation in literal, rational, formulaic terms so that we might better control it, and yet there’s no better! Again, she got a little Zen saying that “in every way, perfection is a myth, and imperfection has its own perfection…” All of which is intended to help the rational, grasping, seeking mind, relax and let go of what it can never control.

We had a 35 minute break for a delicious dinner of sausage stew, salmon, Chilean bass, and smoked chicken, with fresh bread baked by Caryn, and pumpernickel all washed down with the usual assortment of red iced-tea, wines, and water. For dessert, Joyce brought a scrumptious tray of pastries. Rumi liked the chicken!

We resumed and Rose talked a bit about the group session she did at the Seth Conference in which Jo “fell on her face,” which felt like a test to me because I and many people thought Joanne did a marvelous job, though Jo was disappointed that her performance may have been hampered by her nervousness. Rose had told her prior to this session that she’d say something about the Seth session that would “deserve a big grin.” That was the reason she said “fell on her face” – to help Jo let go and have more fun and less fear. What a great example of treantea – allowing multiple views of things to help us relax our expectations of certain outcomes.

Rose EnergyCaryn asked a question about Rose’s energy, which is overwhelming to her at times, as she often feels Rose’s answers to questions before she gives them. Rose said that she was picking up on her energy as it’s in her too, and she can channel in her own way and was very encouraging for Caryn to keep experimenting with her own abilities.

Free PodcastCaryn mentioned that Rose often says, “You are us, we are you” and wondered how that actually worked? Rose gave a longer reply, mentioning that what she says is “true but partial,” which by definition means it’s difficult to communicate all that makes up Rose’s awareness. But there was a lot more and it’s in this week’s podcast.

Joyce asked a question about how geography affects what channels we draw to ourselves, and Rose delved into the many different intents that channels may express. Not all are Sumari like Seth, or Sumafi like Elias or Rose. For example, some are Tumold/Ilda like Daryl Anka who channels Bashar.

I also noted that during the Seth conference I had several strong impressions about people who I’ve come to know very well over the years and realized that they hold Sumari/Sumafi intent (belonging to/aligning with). That included Mary Dillman, Jon Klimo, Barbara Bolduc, and myself. Making the Sumafi connection made a lot of sense.

I also asked Rose to confirm that Jim Funk and Jim Gilbert were also Sumari/Sumafi and she confirmed that with one caveat, that Jim Funk is aligned with Sumafilda – a hybrid of Sumafi and Ilda. All of this explained a lot as these folks have all worked over the years to explore the legacy of the Seth material. It made sense that the Sumafi would be involved in perpetuating the original information with least distortion in their own ways, while also having a very strong Sumari belonging, which explains the deep Sumari connection.

There was more, but we’ll leave that for the transcript. The session was very enjoyable as it was a relatively small group of seven, so we all got to ask more questions and joke around a bit. We ended around 7:25 PM, and said our farewells to Mary and Nardine, and continued to chat until 9:40 PM when we turned into pumpkins. Thanks everyone!

And a great podcast :)

I loved the intentionality of channels discourse, it really got my mind ticking, a very interesting perception.

Much love

Hi Nardine,

We're so glad you could attend being half a planet away! It's clearer now that Rose continues to expand our information about different types of channeling to help those who have this ability, really everyone in their own way, develop it within their own intents.

Love,

Paul
