Kris just announced that he will be introducing Avatar Yoga (yoga of remembrance), something never presented before by any system of yoga. Essentially, it will provide exercises to connect directly with our own essence.
“Most yogas consist of various teachings and philosophies and practices to assist the participant, the devotee, the adept, the disciple, in realizing a certain level of awareness of its own divine origins. That is from the ego construction's perspective. All yogas work from that perspective and try to go back UP the ladder, so to speak.
“... Now this is simply a figure of speech, to go up or to go down the ladder. You could even say that this type of yoga is recognized as a practice BEFORE there are physical incarnations, physical expressions, or avatars of Essence.”
This will employ meditative techniques that involve dreaming and altered states rather than asanas (postures). It will build upon material that Kris has delivered in the past three years available on NewWorldview.
As always, bring your sense of humor, and expect to meet birds of a feather.
“This will be a weekend of deep introspection as well as a place and an environment where many practices will be put into effect, and where the very human journey will be examined and explored and enhanced from the perspective of the heroic dimension; from the perspective of enhanced aspects of Framework or Level One and Two, respectively.
“The discussions will also include many guided visualizations, meditations, practices, both singularly and in small groups and will also include lovely exchanges with ourselves in keeping with the theme, and we cannot emphasize this enough. In other words, this weekend may well be an emersion into the Heroic Dimension.
“... The effects will certainly be felt not only during the weekend itself, but for many days and weeks thereafter, since it is essential that each participant take home with them the discoveries and the realizations that are theirs to discover and realize. From our perspective then, this weekend represents an opportunity to facilitate the discoveries and realizations that the participants already hold.
“We will humbly be providing a venue through which each participant partakes of the feast of consciousness. Each participant is entirely free to be as passionate as they will allow themselves to be, but no one should be passionate simply because it may be an expectation, for no one is expected anything but the best that each participant brings to the get-together.” ~ Kris

There are two diners, a Chinese Restaurant, and Denny's within a ten minute walk of the Castaic Inn and Day's Inn. There are also four 7-11-type stores and four fast food restaurants in the vicinity.
