Hi
All,
We held our latest
Dinner & a Dead Guy session last night and had a large turnout.
Eleven folks attended on the Castaic side, Paul & Jo, Paul T., Elena
& Art, Jene, Sarah, Vikki, Ester, Drew, and Dr. Jim. Norm and Reta
Farb participated from Independence, Oregon and Mark & Serge were by
themselves in a sweltering Toronto.
Jo explored an Eastern European theme for dinner, and we had a beef
goulash, vegetarian cabbage rolls, pierogies, assorted condiments, and a
delicious sour-cream cinnamon chocolate chip coffee cake with various
teas and coffee for dessert. As usual, it was scrumptious.
The Farb's began the conference call a little after 4:30, and we talk for
a few minutes, and then call Toronto via three-way. Kris joined us around
5 PM.
He opened with the continuing themes of "idea atmospheres" and
"idea complexes." But first he went into the nature of the
outer ego, and likened it to a "traffic cop" who manages
various intersections and flows of energetic exchange, translation, and
creation. Kris also invoked the analogy of a "bouncer" in terms
of the ego's managerial skills in what is allowed "in the door"
of awareness in any given moment.
The ego is very important because it creates a cohesiveness and focus
within the larger multidimensional personality.
He then veered into the quest for widening awareness, and the need for
unimpeded functions, all in the service of a rediscovery of who and what
we really are: Self.
The ego as we presently know it en masse, creates a sequence and flow
within waking experience, but other sequences and flows are
neurologically available (I was reminded of Jane Roberts' reports of
taping into other sequences, some faster, some slower, some just out of
range, etc. in her Aspect Psychology books).
The flow of "idea complexes", how events are sequenced may not
be time-dependent. Kris used the example of getting the idea to purchase
a car of all the related ideas, its color, shape, gas mileage, cost,
manufacturing cycle all the way to advent of the Iron Age and
"discovery" of steel all exist in a related complex of ideas.
Exploring these relationships is the key, because they point to many
interdependencies and probable directions the species has taken over the
millennia.
These "ideas complexes" consist of a lattice of "chambers"
that are causal somehow. That is, idea complexes show how the inner self,
subconscious, and outer ego all work together to transform energy
into physical constructions and the perception and manipulation of such.
What lies ahead then, in terms of current idea complexes playing out in
this Now? Kris cited potentials for new discoveries, such as carbon-steel
hybrids 100 times stronger than current metals. These lie latent within
current idea complexes.
"Idea complexes" are subsets of "idea atmospheres." So
there are multidimensional relationships between these within the inner
selves that co-create. I believe they are holonic in nature and we can
trace their potentials for emergence through better understanding various
holonic relationships. These concepts lend themselves towards a new kind
of systems or complexity theory that show how outer and inner structure
cooperate in all conscious creation.
Once we learn to
better tap into these idea complexes and atmospheres, new art, science,
politics, spirituality, etc. may emerge. The alternative may be a
regression into more fundamentalist, conservative, restricted probable
futures, and I'm not interested in actualizing those!
Kris cited the
simple exercise of Witnessing the emergence of any idea, following it,
and tracing its disappearance from egoic awareness. Where do they go?
They still exist in some form, and may be retrieved, or revisited. But
learning to trace the cycle of idea emergence in our awareness will allow
us to better sense and work with various layers and lattices of related
ideas within current idea complexes and atmospheres.
We had our first
break after about an hour, so Kris' energy and focus was very strong, as
was most of the group's. Norm had a bunch of questions, as usual and is
continuing to develop his own ideas and potential experiments in
relationship to the material given in the past two months.
Kris came back in,
and went on to mention that another direction is learning to explore the
surface and veneers of reality to detect the momentum within an idea
complex to discern additional emergent potentials.
Kris also cited the
need for dream work and learning to work with them in similar fashion, as
they are yet another related series within current idea complexes. Ester
asked about imagination in relation to exploring idea complexes and Kris
elaborated on the importance of imaginative capacities to discern and
work with idea complexes. I made the connection to Elias' avenues of
communication, which show very clearly HOW the inner self (subjective
awareness) is related to the outer ego (objective awareness).
Kris also talked
about "psychological torque" or "differential thrust"
in terms of how subjective awareness consciously creates in sync with
objective awareness.
At the end Sarah asked
a personal question about a difficult relationship issue, and Kris
counseled her with a very sincere and compassionate response tailored to
her, but also everyone participating (since we could all relate to
Sarah's experiences). That closed the session on a very caring, tender,
and practical note.
We gabbed for a
short while and then said our "goodbyes" and devoured Jo's
delicious dishes.
Jim, Drew, and
Ester stayed until just before 11PM. We had a great discussion about a
ton of related ideas in recent Elias sessions, Seth, of course, Kris, and
Wilber. I cleaned up and went to bed feeling really great.

Hi
All,
We held our
twenty-first Dinner and a Dead Guy last evening. We had our smallest
Castaic group to date, as only Ester made it. In Oregon, we had our first
guest with the Farbs, Janie Martin. And Myrna and John attended on the
Toronto side. So we had ten folks, and over all, that's a good sized
group.
It was Summer
Solstice Eve, the sun was still high in the California sky. It was in the
80s and hot in our living room. Kris opened by commenting on our
pre-session conversation (the Farbs call us first, then we call Toronto
and a three-way is born), and that he would comment later. He wanted to
open by acknowledging the importance of the Solstice in ancient cultures,
many of which we have no written records of, and how wonderful this
ancient heritage was.
He mentioned that
he would give us a little "history lesson" as he, from his
perspective, is capable. He began to wax poetic in a tone that would
color the entire session, putting us into a right-brain kind of trance
state, in which story-telling was the main mode.
He talked about
migrations, searching for food, and warfare -- all the forces that affect
life conditions for the ancients. He mentioned that mitochondrial DNA
could be traceable to a "strip of land" in the Ural mountains
(Turkey region) that connected various ancient peoples, tribes in the
Turkey, Iran, Iraq area (and I was reminded of our so-called "War on
Terror" who's jihadist enemies are is now concentrated in Iraq,
tribal/global warfare once again!) that was connected to the Altai and
Uru peoples (Kris claims that the Uru were active some 300,000,000 years
ago, making homo-whatevers way older than the current known fossil record
to date. Were these Cro-Magnon or Neanderthals? Or were they homo
sapiens?)
Many of the
premoderns had Solstice celebrations because they had some form of
astronomy and astrology. These cultures thrived for millions of years!
The aboriginal
"dreamtime" was a portal into collective human memories, if
used properly. (This is also related to what Kris calls Dream Ancestors,
and Seth calls sleepwalkers, and Elias calls Dream Walkers, progenitor
essences intimately involved in the creation of our universe).
The ancients were
intimately connected to the natural world, they greeted sunrise and
moon(s)rise as the "eyes" of deities they worshipped. Memories
of these times and focuses are accessible in dream state where we can
learn to access the echoes of songs, joys, celebrations, etc. that
accompanied each Solstice.
Kris is talking
about hundreds of millions of focuses, human beings (which sounds
like homo sapiens to me, but you never know...). We can learn to open our
mind's eye (think inner senses and altered focus) as easily as looking at
a painting and reach for memories from "long ago." (He's doing
a guided meditation at this point, as we're all in a very relaxed state,
listening to his poetic story-telling). Look at your hands, what kind of
musical instruments do you see? Gourds, bowls, sticks, bones, stones....
hundreds of people are gathering in anticipation of a "Feast of the
Sun".
These people had
deep connections with the soil, trees, and animals, seeds, valleys,
mountains, clouds....
Then, Kris
performed a unique chant, attempting to capture ancient echoes of their
ceremonies, a song praising the sun, and love of the people, and the
fruits of the Earth and their loins....
We had a break
after about 40 minutes.
Kris came back and
continued the poetic waxing for another 13 minutes, then a break.
At this point, he
came back to our opening conversation about idea atmospheres, when John
had talked about how to identify the area in a home where idea complexes
are constructed. I mentioned Seth's coordinate points. So Kris riffed off
of these ideas. He mentioned that there was a potential mathematics that
could describe the "ionic tension" of the idea atmospheres
within our home structures, "entry points" that exert a
discernable tension.
With training it's
possible to identify them, enter them, alter their 'frequency" for
more beneficial results (i.e. deeper translations into physical idea
constructions).
Thousands of
concepts flow from idea atmospheres, but we usually only detect
(accurately translate) a few.
I mentioned Seth's
three kinds, absolute, main, and relative (actually the
third one is called subordinate) from Seth Speaks, and Kris mentioned there were
absolute idea atmospheres that affect the current species (though he used
the word race), and "lessor" atmospheres that affect certain
regions of the planet (I mentioned Jerusalem as the seed of three world religious
movements), and some relate to homes and individual people.
This roughly maps
to Seth's coordinate points.
Kris went on to
mention that there are "infant" idea atmospheres vying to
manifest in this Now (and one can only imagine the many incipient and
embryonic "evolutionary" forces in play across the planet. He
did specifically mention the USA, though, so that's of interest, though
he didn't elaborate).
These idea
atmospheres form a VAST area of potential exploration mathematically and
psychologically (seems apt for emergent dream-art sciences).
We are the
cellular, bioenergetic forms that create idea complexes that draw from
these idea atmospheres.
(All of this
material is an attempt to outline the mechanics of conscious creation,
the HOW. Seth's coordinate points relate as specific "points"
that transform/translate Source into physical constructions. But Kris'
idea atmospheres delve into memories and experience,. I brought up the
subject of the so-called Akashic Records, and Jane Roberts's psychic
library from Psychic Politics, where Jane accessed heroic
personages and dimension, something that Kris continues to elaborate
upon. Kris did mention that Jane accessed an idea atmosphere that was
much vaster than a library, though that we her translation into physical
waking imagery of this nonphysical source event. Though I didn't mention
Source Event, THAT concept is clearly related to idea atmospheres also.)
Finally, after
checking on coordinate points, I found the following quote from Seth that
shows the deep relationship to what Kris is exploring and developing with
this latest material:
"A true
understanding of the way in which an idea becomes physical matter [i.e.
the mechanics of conscious creation] would result in a complete
revamping of your so-called modern technology [something that Kris has
recently been exploring], and in buildings, roads, and other structures
that would far outlast those you now have." Seth Speaks, p. 68.
Dream-art sciences
ALL will trace their roots to the relative exploration and practical
applications of that first sentence, "a true understanding of the
way in which an idea becomes physical matter." And yet, as Seth
points out, these coordinate points (Kris' "entry points") are
neutral, and can enhance construction OR destructive elements (as witnessed
by the "mess-o-potamia" now centered in.)
Kris gave some
personal info for a friend of mine and then ended, and we discussed
things a bit. Norm tried to get in a question, but Kris left, and then
popped back in to address it, something to do with "electric
monopoles" vs. "magnetic monopoles" in relation to these
"entry points."
We ended around
6:55 PM.
Happy Solstice!

We held our 22nd
Dinner and a Dead Guy last night, and what a session! We had a great time
with our friends and Kris.
Drew, Ester, Jene,
Jo and myself, and Frieda (my mother) attended on the Castaic end, Norm
and Reta were present in Independence, OR and it was just Serge and Mark
in a very hot Toronto!
Kris opened with
Idea Atmospheres and Norm went into a lengthy Q&A using them as a
point of departure. Norm wandered into the nature of personal practice,
seeking advice on developing meditative capacities. I mentioned that if
you want to learn to play the piano, some are self-taught, but most find
a teacher, take lessons, and practice.
Jene chimed in
about projection states and coached Norm on how to "remember"
out of body states from earlier days.
During the break, I
talked about Integral Transformative Practice or ITP as invented by
George Leonard and Mike Murphy of Esalen fame, and continued by Ken
Wilber & Co. at Integral Institute (the call it Integral Life
Practice), but they are current ways of a kind of cross-training for over
all, body-mind-spiritual development. The basic idea is to exercise as
many aspects of self, including body/mind/spirit within
self/culture/nature. Start with 2-3 modules and develop your personal
variation from there.
Practice makes
perfect. A great mantra, if you get what you concentrate on is really
true!
I also talked about
STAGES of development in relation to STATES and pointed out Spiral
Dynamics eight stages as an example of permanent centers of
gravity during waking state. However, we also have access to dreaming and
deep dreamless sleep every 24 hours. So over all, we're spiraling through
permanent stages and states throughout our lifetimes.
Kris came back in
and commented on stages of development, much to my surprise and delight,
supporting them in physical only terms, but reinforcing that there is a
linear aspect to our physical evolution. He pointed out that however we
map stages of development, they are relevant only to our present era,
which is defines as the third stage of the Vedic civilization whose
origins are traceable back some 500-600 million years ago.
I've been updating
my essay on Dreams, "Evolution," and Value Fulfillment by
Seth/Jane Roberts and working on the first five chapters, so that
material was fresh in my mind. Kris pointed out how, as essence, we
create various civilizations and eras to "harvest experience",
and I was reminded of all the work done in the subtle and causal domains
"before the beginning" of any physical domain.
As the conversation
turned to experiencing different worldviews, Kris took a minute and put
Serge in a deeper trance to access yet another aspect. After a long
silence, a new voice, speaking slowly and with less emotion came through.
I was reminded of the Seth II and III aspects, so it was a real treat to
experience this phenomenon! A name was later given by Kris of Eeja (E-ja)
who is natively focused in "the far flung reaches of Quadrant
3." This is a "high causal" domain, formless, sentient,
awareized ancient Consciousness, Kris later said It, not a he or she, It
was "extremely ancient" in relation to himself!
The energy tone
felt ancient, and opened by saying that it had been a long time since
using vocal cords. There seemed to be an acclamation period, getting used
to the language translation process. But, as Mark said later, Eeja was
intent on communicating several ideas, among which was the endless
potential for creativity and spoke of dimensions based on crystalline
solar systems, cubic planets, triangular structures, all of which would
result in physical forms way beyond our current experience.
This layer of Self
is similar to Seth's sleepwalkers, Elias' Dream Walkers, and Kris' dream
ancestors, but I didn't ask that question at the time.
It was a little
hard to hear Eeja on our end and in Oregon.
We finished with
some personal questions, got an essence name and six pack for my mother,
and Jo asked some questions about her impressions and dreams.
We then feasted on
mom's home made goulash, salad, bread, rice, and some kind of veggie dish
whose name escapes me. We had coffee, tea, and lemon-poundcake for
desert. A good time was had by all. I also have to report that the
session lasted over two hours, a marathon, that covered a lot of ground.
The transcript will be a long one and convey a lot of info!

Dinner and A
Dead Guy #23 - August 01, 2005
We held our latest
gabfest with friends in Castaic, CA, Toronto, and Independence, OR. Paul,
Jo, Drew, Ester, Paul Tews, and Rumi the Siamese cat held down the
grooves on the Castaic side. Norm, Reta, and Janey added some percussion
in Independence, and Serge and Mark provided lead vocals on the Toronto
side.
This was by far,
our most passionate session to date. We began our pre-session chat on a
variety of topics, and Jane mentioned something about Lazarus' concept of
the negative ego, which Kris picked up on and opened with. He asked Jane
to define it, and she said it was something like that part of ourselves
that fools itself and fills itself with unrealistic dreams, or something
like that.
Kris went on a bit
about the nature of outer ego and belief systems. He sequed into notions
of internal and external "forces" that fill present worldviews.
This gets into things like "the devil made me do it" or outside
forces causing negative experiences per the negative ego.
Kris finished the
opening 20 minutes with a lovely riff on the creative power of the
individual, which I felt at the essence layer because he talked about our
ability to create suns, planets, eagles and other incredible things.
After break, Kris
continued for about 15 minutes and then opened the floor to questions.
Norm preambled a bit and then asked a general question with moral and
ethical implications, seeking Kris' perspective on how to approach the
complexity of current affairs.
Kris riffed a bit
on the "sinful self" or flawed self nature of premodern Eastern
and Western religions used to enforce a status quo that kept the
collective from realizing its deeper potentials, but that, of course has
been changing in modern worldviews, and postmodern worldviews. But
beliefs in salvation, atonement, redemption and like that put heaven in
the after life, and not achievable on earth.
He mentioned a
variation of the golden rule, simply do unto others as you would have
them do unto you. A simple but effective as a way to optimize social
systems.
At one point Drew
began a line of inquiry exploring the idea that Seth, Elias, and Kris all
say there is no good or evil in any absolute sense, and yet some of us,
myself included, seem to be making comments that judge or label as
"bad" the actions of terrorists in London, an example I had
used earlier.
Norm, Jane, Kris
all made comments, and Drew continued for a good 25 minutes trying to get
Kris to clarify his position, in the midst of various comments.
Things got heated
to say the least!
The main point I
made was that there's a type of extreme moral relativism, the kind that
thinks its leveling the playing field, but is in reality using a stealth
form of contradiction (pretzel logic) to impose its own hidden
value hierarchy.
(The rest I wrote
today, but it supports my main point during this heated debate.)
For instance, the
logic goes something like this: I make a universal claim that there are
no universals (in this case good or evil, and therefore right and wrong).
The contradiction
is the hidden value hierarchy, that it's universal that there are no
universals. The claim contradicts itself because it seeks to impose a
universal claim that there are no universal claims.
So, while someone
uses that claim to "prove" that the thugs who blew up the
subways and bus in London are really no better or worse than the rest of
us, they still have their own hidden hierarchy of what's universal
(there are no universals).
It snarks right up
its own ass into the kind of ethical oblivion that elevates criminal
thugs to some kind of high spiritually informed change agent that has the
greater good clearly in sights, when all that's in its sights are
"fuck you, no one tells me what to do, and killing, scaring, and
dominating you makes me feel powerful."
Those are the kind
of values that need to be delegitimized, dismantled, and discredited,
hopefully in such a way that no one gets hurt. Seth's "the ends
don't justify the means" can be more or less maintained.
But the bottom line
is to acknowledge the value hierarchies we're bringing to bear,
get them out in the open and stop using stealth, contradiction, pretzel
logic, political correctness to mask them. Situate them properly in a
matrix of ALL the hierarchical claims, and then see which ones are
allowing for actualization not domination.
Riane Eisler talked
about dominator hierarchies in relation to actualization hierarchies in
The Chalice and the Blade (1987). The former inhibits growth, personal
freedom, creativity through threat of force, economic sanctions,
excommunication, etc. The later promotes growth, and I believe
value fulfillment, by letting people do their thing as long as a basic
civil harmony is maintained.
So the game is not
about marginalizing hierarchy through pretzel logic, but properly
situating and acknowledging our own preferences of right and wrong, good
and bad, healthy and pathological and how that relates to
actualization and value fulfillment. And Seth's innate violation is in
play all along because people are at different moral stages of
development (acorn, sapling, tree), so there's no single universal right
or wrong to be imposed, just what will maintain civil harmony to promote
collective growth and value fulfillment as people live their lives
through these stages.
Finally, extreme
moral relativism is also used to justify the lack of condemnation
for the kind of criminal thuggery seen in London's subways and buses. And
so they don't have to take any responsibility and make a stand or judge
someone as right or wrong, when they're doing it anyway. It's a form of
nihilism, snarking right into the land where the sun don't shine and
actually promoting the very thing they're seeking to avoid (dominator
hierarchies love extreme moral relativism because it keeps them in
business and people powerless to take a stand).
Needless to say we
had quite a conversation after Kris left, this was another long session,
Kris was around for almost two hours!
Jim Pickerell
stopped by and caught the last ten minutes, and wondered why the vibe was
so charged.
We had a delicious
polenta casserole, apple sausages, and fresh baked cookies from the
Oxnard Farmer's Market.
Drew, Ester, Jo,
and I made it until 11 PM, and then we called it an evening.
This will be an
interesting transcript!

We held D&DG
#24 last evening. Our 16 year old niece Celia was visiting from the
Philadelphia area and participated in her first channeling session along
with a new friend Tom Caruso from Long Beach, along with regulars Jo and
myself, Paul Tews, Ester Trevino, and Jene Fielder. On the Toronto side
there was a nice group including Mark, Serge, Myrna, John, Franko,
Eveline, and Alice. The Farbs were absent having celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary over the weekend, and were in the midst of a family
talent show.
The pre-session
conversation centered around curiosity about our previous D&DG
session, what Mark has titled Rose Colored Glasses, and the passionate
debate we had about morality, i.e., how do we deal with moral relativism?
That led into Kris' appearance and he pointed out once again that we
mustn't rely on just words and an intellectual understanding of the
material, that we must open to our hearts, emotions, and feelings to help
guide us through this postmodern maze of relativistic and pluralistic
beliefs in right and wrong, good and bad, healthy and pathological, etc.
Kris also mentioned
that is was indeed a passionate session and the energy was vibrant and
expressive, and this is the kind of thing that makes us fully alive. It's
less important that we agree on everything, or anyone emerge as a winner
in these kinds of debates as it is to approach the debate with passion,
fueled by the closeness of our intents. He used Michelangelo as an
example of the kind of passionate personality who may have lived to
extremes, but through it all managed to create his art with a passion
that still communicates something very deep to us today.
Kris pointed out
that his main purpose is to ignite our passions.
We had an early
break after only about 13 minutes. It was dead quiet, and Jo broke the
silence and mentioned her essay called Romance and Remembrance that
she's been inspired to write after the previous D&DG session that
deals with passion, love, romance within Seth, Elias, Kris and other
sources. Myrna mentioned that she's gotten in touch with the need for fun
and meaning in every day terms.
Kris came back in
and reminded us that we must not use other's words (meaning Seth, Elias,
Kris, etc.) to deny our passion and knowing.
Living passionately
involves deeply understanding our innate intention (thinking of essence
families) and this helps us to reach beyond our limitations and grow and
fulfill our selves as individuals.
(I was reminded of
a recent book by Frank Visser on Ken Wilber's work title Thought as
Passion, and it mentions how Wilber's philosophy is driven by the
passion to know and be and remember who and what we really are.)
Kris used a vine
analogy to show how each individual's passion and fulfillment leads to
collective growth. He then went into an analogy showing how we're all
connected to All-That-Is, that star dust and the ashes of the sun form
our food chain that in turn forms our bodies, and these nested
awarenesses all speak to us of ancient oceans and lakes and other parts
of the planet that they've been part of. Every atom in our body has a
history and "remembers" its own ancient heritage, and together
this forms, influences, and colors our reality.
He then mentioned
that he had 16,318 probable realities in which he spoke through Joseph
(Serge's essence) and other essences, and he mentioned a Bengali saying
that means "Tat Tvam Asi," we are simultaneously One and Many,
therefore "thou are that." This is an ancient expression of
nondual awareness.
After another short
break, John asked about the 16,318 probabilities that we were all curious
about. He asked if they were all in the TAAJ cluster (the one with our
familiar nine families) or not, and Kris responded, "Not." I
asked if they were spread over time that includes our past, present, and
future, and he said yes, some are very ancient and very distant future.
Mark asked if there were some in which the roles were reversed and Kris
had focuses which listened to another one of our essences channel, and he
said, "Yes."
Kris also mentioned
that the channeling phenomenon was "hardwired" or involved into
the "blueprints for reality" that co-create our physical
reality. So this is a major source of "remembrance" in
objective terms, because I mentioned that these kinds of communications
were ongoing in constant fashion subjectively. But I was struck that we,
as essence, designed as sort of safe-guard into the system to allow
deeper truths to get expressed through the channeling phenomenon.
We asked some
questions about the early biblical prophets, and on and on.
Kris wrapped up
with a lovely musical analogy for each of us to realize our passions and
play our own song with gusto and feeling.
The session ended
around 6:12 PM PST.
We talked a little
with the group, and then thanked our hosts and had dinner. Jo had used a
Mediterranean theme for her food selections. Hor d'oeuvres included Baba
Ganoush, Unie Kaas Roomkaas cheese, kiwi slices and crackers, and pita
chips with dip. Dinner included shish kabobs of beef, chicken, tempeh,
onions, mushrooms, and zucchini. Desert included coffee, tea, and Jewish
Apple Cake.
We finished off the
evening with a game of Balderdash until Aunt Joanne went to bed, and
Celia and I went out on the deck and star gazed at the Perseid meteor
shower until midnight.

Last evening we
held D&DG #25. It was a late summer small group, in Castaic, Jo,
mySelf, Paul T., Ester, and Rumi the Siamese, in Independence Norm &
Reta, and Jane, and in Toronto, Mark, Serge, and Sarah.
The session started
a little late, due to traffic in LA, around 5:15 PM. Kris began by asking
us if we were "strapped in for the ride", a classic Eliasian
metaphor for dealing with the subtle currents of the shift. We breathed a
collective sigh of relief when he didn't begin with a secrets session or
some other direct challenge (thinking of various Elias sessions over the
years).
Kris then
acknowledge my work and issued a question: "Which "you" is
the you in this moment?" (This is a reference to an Integral Conscious Creation essay I wrote two
years ago called "Who is the 'You' in YCYOR?"
Rather than list
the details, I'm just going to list the major touchstones Kris riffed on,
they included:
- in order to grok
the gory details, we need to develop a "higher intellect" (a
nod to Seth's concept from The "Unknown" Reality)
- we need to learn
to deal with the "shadow side" of the belief system of
duplicity (admit we all wear rose colored glasses of some kind)
- most importantly,
he went into stages of development, both physical AND psychological.
(This is a ringing endorsement of much of Ken Wilber's integral approach,
which is based upon decades of excellent research that lies at the heart
of my Integral Conscious Creation work.)
- he tied these
into psychological stages into moral and ethical "value
convictions" (the same as Elias' belief system of duplicity, similar
to what I've been riffing on in the Rose Colored Glasses Topic, namely, that they
unfold in egocentric (me), ethnocentric (us), worldcentric (all of us),
and consciousnesscentric (all beings) stages of development of increasing
care, concern, and embrace, which is another way of showing HOW widening
awareness unfolds in physical terms.)
- he then outlined
his version of the Great Nest of Being or All-That-Is as: focus
<==> essence <==> multiple-essence <==>
multidimensional (Seth's pyramid gestalts), and though I didn't ask, I
believe this ontology maps directly to his four quadrants:
(Q1) focus
<==> (Q2) essence <==> (Q3) multiple-essence <==> (Q4)
multidimensional (Brahmajyoti)
- there's a
difference between intellectual and authentic perception. Intellectual is
simply reading the words, and interpreting them literally (talking the
talk), but authentic includes an emotional and experiential understanding
and conceptualization (walking the talk)
- the method, for
now, is Triple A = Acknowledge, Address, Accept (a variation of Elias' NIRAA). This practice will lead toward use of
high intellect, or blending thinking AND feeling, reason AND deep
intuition, intellect AND emotions. This cognitive capacity will allow us
to grok, through direct experience, what Seth, Elias, and Kris have been
talking about for over 40 years now.) This will lead to male and female
mahatmas, or what Jo simply aspired to being, a ma-hot-ma .
- there are states
and stages of differentiation and nondifferentiation. Just a mention.
- he also mentioned
the import of connecting with "reincarnational selves" (Seth's
term) as a means of enriching the experience of each focus
- he also tied in
idea atmospheres and idea complexes, and showed that Aspect Psychology, as
I've been calling it, is also an idea complex, "ideas about
ourSelves", that basically what we call outer ego, in any stage, consists
of aspects or ideas (we could also call these aspects
"subpersonalities" managed by the ego. Elias uses the term
alternate selves in the same way.)
- Finally, Kris
closed with a riff on "the other is you" in relation to
Hurricane Katrina and the severe trauma being experienced right now, but
also tied in Darfur, other parts of Africa, and China, and really the
whole world. But he reminded us to aspire to walk our talk, do the work,
put in the time, energy, and practice and reap the rewards down the road.
(Kris' practice
of perspectives - the other is you is another excellent method toward
developing a worldcentric perspective. And THAT is one of his current
transformative challenges to all of us.)
All told, this
session validated much of my work over the summer on Integral Conscious Creation. As I told Ester
later, Kris throws each of us a bone once or twice a year, not enough to
give us a big head, but enough to let us know we're on the right track.
And last night was, what I would call a ringing endorsement of my Integral Conscious Creation work (and also Ken
Wilber's integral work).
Now I forgot to
mention the most important part of the evening, Jo's cooking! She
explored an African theme, and our coffee table was graced by a goddess
figurine from Ghana. Appetizers were an Egyptian bean dip (very exotic
tasting, to my tastes ),
dinner was a West African Chicken and Peanut stew (spicy!) on white rice
with plantains and coconut milk. Desert was an array of teas, and
chocolate drizzled butter cookies and pecan sandies.
Ester stayed to 10
PM and we waxed philosophic about the session, and the fact that she had
had private Kris and Elias sessions last week. So it's been an intense
time for her to assimilate all this new information. But she's in good
company, as are we all.
Strapped in for the
ride, as always!

We held D&DG
#26 last night. The Farbs were on vacation, and in Castaic there was Paul
& Jo, Paul T., and Ester, and in Toronto Serge, Mark, Myrna, and
John.
I had to take our
Siamese kitty Rumi to the vet yesterday for surgery on an abscessed anal
gland. The poor boy came home with a dozen stitches and a nasty looking
wound. So I was distracted during the session to say the least as we
walked in the door just as I heard Mark's voice citing the time check,
which meant Kris was to follow.
Luckily, Kris
opened the floor to questions and put the session in our hands. So I just
tried to relax and get Rumi settled into his new collar so he couldn't
"lick his wounds."
Anyway, Jo took
over with Rumi and I heard Paul t. ask the first question about Hurricane
Katrina and probabilities chosen and not chosen.
I missed a lot, so
my notes are incomplete.
After the first
break, I was more able to gather my wits and finally asked a question
given to me by Daniel Breitstein months ago about Elias' orientations and
the number 3 being the minimum for a cycle of manifestation.
Kris agreed that
the number was three, but avoided answering the orientations. Perhaps
these kinds of cross questions stir up larger probable idea atmospheres
that need time to work through? At least he gave an answer that didn't
directly contradict Elias in my view, but could actually work in concert
with the orientations (as Kris talked about three genders OR racial
perspectives OR family situations OR time periods). So they weren't
mutually contradictory.
Mark also asked
about the Eldoraa cluster and a clarification that this cluster varies
its number of essence families by up to ten! So I realized that was over
our collective heads for the moment and let it go for now. No doubt we'll
revisit it when the time is right.
I'm still
fascinated by Kris' clusters and how they expand my sense of the middle
"I" or essence.

We held Dinner and
a Dead Guy #27 and had our smallest group to date for a variety of
interesting reasons. Serge and Mark were present in Toronto, and Jo,
Paul, and Ester (and a healed up Rumi kitty) were present in Castaic.
Paul T. "forgot" and went golfing, and the Farbs were home,
which we didn't find out until later, but we thought they were still on
vacation.
Oh well!
Kris started with a
simple question, "Assume the I was a complete stranger to human
beliefs, how would you explain them to me?" We each gave a
variation, Mark, Jo, and Ester used the words "true" or
"truth" in theirs. I mumbled something about core values that
act as filters in all our perception of projected and received energy.
Kris went on to
define beliefs as a key translation mechanism between subjective and
objective awareness, and that stoking new beliefs stokes transformation
and growth. He reiterated that beliefs are key psychological structures
for any focus of essence, and necessary for basic physical and mental
health.
I couldn't help but
hear Elias echo his idea that we're not eliminating beliefs, just
learning to accept and neutralize, and grossly misunderstood that basic
idea still is to mean that there should be no conflict, natural
aggression, or disagreement, which in turn would mean no growth and
development in physical and mental terms.
Kris expanded into "life-threads", which is related material
from Spring and Summer of this year [2005] on "idea-atmospheres,"
"idea-complexes" and "idea-threads.". The
basic idea, pun intended ,
is to "help you identify more of your own thought processes and how
you process your thinking patterns."
So this is all about supporting the NIRAA and AAA practices, which in turn, all deal with
working with core belief systems. Kris said back in June, 2005 "...
by recognizing not only the flow of thoughts into your awareness but how
you pattern your thinking, which also brings about specific sets of
events and circumstances, you avail yourselves of an incredible tool of
awareness. And you can, as well, recognize those thought patterns that
obviously are linked to your beliefs and convictions.
"But the ability to recognize thought patterns enables you to become
aware of thought patterns that are no longer of specific benefit to you,
but that may still, like an old program, function in the background and
still brings about its effects...."
This is similar to Elias' recognizing automatic responses, accepting and
neutralizing beliefs, and widening awareness, and of course, Seth's
identifying and changing limiting beliefs.
All three sources deal with introspection = noticing = mindfulness, that
result in making the subconscious, automatic responses conscious, so that
we can neutralize them and move on, and widen our awareness, transform,
grow, and develop.
Idea-threads are also the same as Seth's bridge beliefs, beliefs that
lead into other belief areas. Kris uses a threading metaphor to show how
we weave together entire "idea-threads" that may no longer
serve us, and actually hold us back, causing arrest and limiting further
growth of our abilities.
Kris also ties value creation, a variation of Seth's value fulfillment,
into this process of AAAing or working with various idea-threads that
hold us back, or limit us in some way.
Regarding the noticing practice, "[Triple ‘A’] can assist and break
and recognize the specific goal and it does not mean that after two weeks
time you will be walking on water, unless it is very shallow. But it does
mean that you may indeed begin, right now, to address inner dialogues and
conflicts and conversations, recognizing thought processes, thought
patterns and thought threads. And those threads lead perhaps to many
roads. But they all lead to one destination, indeed the recognition that
the self is not split, separated, in conflict. It is whole. And it is
only because any number of you at any given time are only focused in
small portions of yourselves."
So the life-thread concept kicks this up a notch to include the whole
focus in relation to essence in relation to ALL focuses of essence, which
he introduced another term essence tapestry to cover all
life-threads of all focuses within an essence or essence
"body".
So the ontology goes something like -- belief structures <==>
life-threads <==> essence tapestry.
Yes, this was another BIG session in which Kris pushes into Quadrant 2,
and even Q3 and Q4 a bit, to show how it's all interconnected, and nothing
ultimately higher or lower, wider or narrower, but is a valid expression
and manifestation within All-That-Is.
So
"life-threads" are common themes between focuses of essence,
another layer of connective tissue within Self or All-That-Is. And
learning to work with life-threads opens the door to further explore the
"unknown reality" of Self.
They are similar to
what Elias calls chapter focuses and focus bleedthrough, too. But chapter
focuses certainly come closest to showing a thread or connection between
groupings of focuses. So this is an interesting development. No
accidents....
Kris also mentioned
that whenever we deny, suppress, repress, discount, marginalize,
minimize, or subvert aspects of ourSelves it inevitably leads to dead end
in terms of development and value creation. So it behooves us all to
appreciate deeply our physical, mental, and spiritual natures and not
deny the flesh and call that spiritual. No doubt, this is a BIG
life-thread for many of us who have numerous focuses peppered throughout
what Elias calls the Religious Era, the past ten thousand years, but my
best estimates.
Working with
life-threads requires developing our empathic inner and outer senses. And
I was reminded of a dream I had with Jo Monday morning in which a
policeman or gas company official was interacting with Jo and
misinterpreted her natural vivaciousness as a come on, and referred to
her as a "hooker," which really crossed my line in the dream.
Anyway, upon awakening and reflecting I realized that this was a
"bleedthrough" from Jo's courtesan focuses, and this was a good
example of a life-thread bleeding through in dream state.
Learning to notice
life-threads then scales up to the potential of working with essence
tapestries as we expand in Quadrant 2 through the clusters of essence
bodies.
Again, this is a
BIG practice, and plays off of, and builds upon the foundational NIRAA or AAA practices.
Kris went even
further, and added the concept of platform belief systems which
involve the physical manifestation of energy via essence translation
(doesn't everything? ).
But he was pointing out an ontological area of essence volition from
Quadrant 2 that is intimately involved in the construction of our core
belief systems. And I did manage to mention Elias'
ten core beliefs as forming the basis for all idea threads and
life-threads.
Anyway, these
platform belief systems are the same as Seth's blueprints for reality
as mentioned in relation to Dream-Art Science in The "Unknown" Reality. I asked Kris
if these were the same thing, and he said, "indeed."
He opened the floor
to questions, and I asked about a lucid dream I had sparked after our
last D&DG session when Paul Tews asked about a way to recapture
specific altered states. And Kris said to try and recreate all the
conditions that led to the experience. Which led me to investigate a
string of projection experiments from 1998, which in turn, led to three
Kundalini or projection dreams the following week, last week.
So, I mentioned
that at one point, I became lucid while focusing intently on a TV screen.
Once fully lucid, and at a 9 on my scale of 1-10, I projected into the TV
set, used it as what Elias calls a dream trigger and experienced a sudden
transition to formlessness. The transition was startlingly swift and
really stretched my awareness, to the point that it felt like going
through a worm hole, as depicted on various sci-fi shows. The state only
lasted a short while. But Kris said that I "merged" though that
wasn't quite the right word, with my essence and experienced the
"near-formlessness" of essence.
He said it was an
excellent translation or memory of the experience. He also threw me
another bone (these are rare!) in which he offered me an aspect name of a
subjective aspect of essence that assists me in these explorations. He
spelled out the name: Dhong-jak-taa. (Sounds Klingon to me )
But seriously, he said that this aspect was analogous to what Tibetan
Buddhists (another life-thread of mine) would consider as a "high
lama." But I could use this aspect for further explorations.
I later made the
connection that this is my dream helper or guide that I connected with
3-4 times in the past eight years. I have imaged him, as a he, and a
black skinned and blonde-haired male. Interestingly, Dhong-jak-taa
facilitated this lucid dream/projection experience but I have no recall
of his presence.
So this was a gift
from Kris for me to use further.
He also cautioned
me, humorously, to be strapped in for the ride! And I have learned that
lesson quite well from my other good friend, Elias.
Jo asked some
questions about the nature of prenatal trauma, and I mentioned the work
of Otto Rank and Stan Grof in this area, which led to an interesting
exchange about the nature of subjective and emergent objective perception
during prenatal, of what Kris called gestation, and neonatal experience.
It's obviously a tough area to research because it's all done from an
adult perspective, and memories are slippery and changeable.
Kris also was
humorous during this exchange in that something like 99.98% of all
focuses choose not to recall these experiences because the overall
conditions are quite cramped by birthed standards. Also, he mentioned
that EVERYTHING is recorded within essence, when the ovum and sperm
merge, when heart and brain tissues first form. ALL of these early
physical constructions are known within essence. So I raised the issue of
abortion, not to get anything finite, but just to bring to bear some of
the implication of what Kris talked about.
It's clear that
there is no single moment when objective awareness, proto and pre-egoic
awareness begins in the womb or after birth. There's a range based upon
essence preference and life conditions. But the current scientific belief
that fetuses feel no pain before 20 weeks is simply nonsense. It's all
felt and experienced by essence, since it's a projection or translation
or construction of essence in the physical field.
I think this
material would have an impact on abortion law, and possibly Rowe vs.
Wade, in terms of further nuances in what should and shouldn't be
legislated in terms of abortion.
Finally, Jo asked
about a dream in which she had a focus of Anastasia Romanoff, and asked
whether it was a focus of hers. Kris added yet another concept he called focus
models which felt similar to Elias' observing essences but I was too tired to
pursue at that time. He said that multiple essence bodies create threads
for multiple focuses, but it wasn't clear to me.
Needless to say,
this was a BIG session that covered a lot of ground....

October
17, 2005
We held Dinner and
a Dead Guy #28 and had another small group. Serge, Mark, Myrna, and John
were present in Toronto, and Paul H., (Jo was in Orlando, FL on a last
minute business trip leaving Paul to "cook" dinner), Paul T.
and Jene F. were present in Castaic. Norm and Reta Farb, and Jane were
present on the Oregon side.
Norm had purchased
a new RCA 2500 speaker phone to try and improve sound quality on his end.
He had been using a Radio Shack model earlier with medium results. I
spoke with Norm and Reta for an hour earlier in the day using my
Panasonic speaker-phone (the same model Serge and Mark use), and the
audio was just fine, even as Norm walked around his room.
The session
pre-talk began around 4:40 Pacific time, 7:40 Eastern time. Serge asked
if anyone had anything particular to discuss with Kris, as he sometimes
does. My initial reaction was the usual God, life, the universe, and
everything, which is my way of saying I didn't have anything pressing. So
Myrna lead the way by talking about moving from powerless to powerful and
we had some discussion on that topic.
Gradually I chimed
in about our session three weeks ago in which I asked Kris about a lucid
dream and he offered an aspect of essence named Dhong-jak-TAAH who is a
personalized guide energy for my subtle body explorations. I shared this
also to fill in the Farbs who missed the session and hadn't had a chance
to read the transcript.
This lead to Kris'
entry.... he began with Myrna's topic and led a 20 minute riff on human
struggles, and beliefs in lack, poverty, illness, and so on. He pointed
out that essence and focus never lack anything and reinforced the notion
that essence does not choose for the focus, though human life threads
may appear as a lack of power, health, financial resources and the like.
But prosperity, wellness, resources, freedom, abundance, and love are
always available.
During our first
break Norm said that they were having trouble understanding Kris, and I
chimed in that there were some dropouts on our end, but we got the gist
of this direction. Jene uses our second handset with an earpiece/mic
plugged in, so she was getting good sound. Norm was frustrated because he
had just purchased a new phone, and yet the audio from Toronto was muddy
at times. Mark chimed in that they were on VOIP, or Internet phone
because they had just moved and didn't get their new phone lines hooked
up yet, so the phone was forwarding the land line to the VOIP line, so
essentially the Toronto end was on IP or internet protocol and there were
some dropouts.
Still, we got the
gist, and Kris didn't open with anything new, just played off Myrna's
comments to warm us up.
We decided to hang
up, and reconnect our three-way chain, and did so. But the sound didn't
get any better.
Paul Tews observed
that Kris was not enunciating his words as clearly as usual during the
opening. He seemed to be talking softly in my perception, so some words
were muddied, but that is normal in this current format. I use
fuzzy-logic based on hearing and reading the sessions to fill the gap,
and was more or less, following.
So we began the
second part, and the communications problems continued. Kris went into an
"adventures in consciousness" angle and used the codex (an
ancient manuscript), library, books, and chapter metaphor (similar to
Elias' chapter focus) to help us connect with our vast, inner resources,
and wealth. This is what he usually does to widen the outer egoic focus
on little "I" toward the middle "I" or essence. I
always enjoy the progression.
We had a second
break, and discussed the communications issues. Jene pointed out to Norm
that there had been early Elias sessions with energy interference, and I
recalled that they were in the 170s from April/May, 1997 (and when I
looked it up today, sure enough, it was session 175, May 17, 1997, right
the midst of four genetics sessions that Norm and Reta had mostly participated
in. In fact, the preceding session had been held at their old home in
Orange County, California!) Also, the weather was charged in Castaic
yesterday. We had an unusual thunder and lightning storm that had begun
around 2 AM and was still continuing, on and off, during the session! So
it added an element of energy interference imagery.
Then Myrna got into
the self-reflective nature of the imagery and asked what it was we did or
didn't want to hear, which fell on mostly deaf ears! So
it was an unusual kind of group vibe, marked by frustration, and garbled
communications.
Also, humorously,
during the second break when Kris returned he mentioned that he had been
trying to telepathically communicate with all of us but none of us was
listening! I found that to be hilarious! His sense of humor undaunted, he
continued.
Later on Kris mentioned
that we are trying to rewire our brains to engage altered focus. He
mentioned life threads and essence tapestries again, which
are similar to Elias' chapter focus and observing essences.
Kris eventually
asked me to share my comments about Dhong-jak-TAAH, and played of them to
point out that we're seeking new tools of communication with essence
aspects that have never existed before. He did a little history jog and
mentioned how the printing press, that revolutionized Medieval Europe,
was the Medieval equivalent of today's Internet and global satellite
networks
He also mentioned soundlets
in relationship to new means of inner and outer communications.
Kris also
challenged each of us to listen to Mark's recording of the session and
compare it to our perception through our phone lines. I should mention
that I also tape record on a mini-recorder almost every session (have
missed a couple though). So I listened to that today for starters and you
can tell that Kris is almost shouting by the middle and end of the
session, but his voice came through somewhat muted on the phone. On my
tape, his voice is loud, almost distorting my tape. But there ARE
dropouts where the signal seems to be interrupted at times. Other times
there are simply words I cannot discern through the speaker-phone. If it
matters, I will quickly ask someone in the room and verify what I missed,
otherwise I get the gist.
Also, I downloaded
the session files from Mark and Serge, and they are somewhat distorted,
but here's why. They record at 16 bit 11,025 mono, which is one quarter
of CD quality sound. So the sound files are very noisy, and hissy. There
are actually dropouts during silences, sort of like some kind of noise
gate is set on their recorder. Ironically, the first time Norm and I
speak, our voices are even clearer than Kris'!!! Bizarre.
Also, Mark's voice
is usually very clear, almost booms out, as he has a classic voice
announcers voice that is very resonant. But even his voice was in the
background and sounded like he was across the room.
"Can you hear
me now?" was the mantra for this session!
Next, I asked about
the Dhong-jak-TAAH aspect and recalled my first encounter in which he
appears as an African male, and a blonde and black-haired male. He left
me with a cryptic message: I asked him “how
many focuses do I have?” And he just replied, “I’d like to reduce the
aspects for now.” I remembered it very clearly. Gradually I came to
interpret it as "less is more", stop making your astral
explorations so complicated. And so I did. And I asked Kris about this
interpretation.
Interestingly, I
had never mentioned this to Serge during our private conversations, and
yet Kris knew that this had occurred "approximately 7 or 8 years
ago?" I looked it up today, and it occurred on October 3, 1999
(thank goddess for dream journals). So it was just over six years ago.
Kris was in the ballpark. But when I asked Elias about this 1999
experience he related it to another powerful experience that occurred in
October 1997, eight years ago. So these two experiences are
related to this aspect of Dhong-jak-TAAH.
Kris pointed out
that I would interpret information differently today as a result, than I
would 7-8 years ago, and he's right. He also said that it's a necessary
part of the process, to educate ourselves with a solid foundation so as
to not get lost in distorted translations of communication from essence
(which made me wonder how times in history has some "prophet's"
translation been second or third rate, and changed the course of history?).
Anyway, not that I
consider myself a prophet, just an explorer and map-maker of Self. But
Kris was clear that it's important to keep things simple in order to get
to a deeper complexity that is less distorted, and I have done
just that. And it ain’t an easy road, and not for the faint-hearted,
that's for sure.
Also, here's what
Elias had to say about my first encounter with Dhong-jak-TAAH some six
years ago:
PAUL: “I’d like to get your impressions on a dream
experience that I had, and again, I did talk to Mary about this. This was
what I call an out-of-body experience, and it was what I call a big one,
which means from my perception it lasted for quite a long time. I also
did not have a lot of objective memory of it, but I have that feeling
tone of its duration, which is quite interesting and enjoyable to me. A
couple of things happened during that.
One is, I have been doing this for a number
of years now, basically merging with objects, walking through walls,
diving into floors, breathing the dirt and the grass under the lawn,
things like that was one thing that happened. Also in this event, or
series of events, as I interpret them, I dove through the window again
and got stuck and extracted myself, and concentrated harder and got
through. That’s imagery that has appeared before that I’d like you to
comment on.
There was a black teenager who I had given a
cello lesson to that thanked me. That was one thing, and later on, he
reappeared — well, it’s important for later on — where I was at my
childhood home in the TV room in the back, sitting on a couch, and a male
was there, and I asked him, “Are you my guide?” — and by guide, I mean I
was looking for an aspect of self who can provide me with information,
and I also called it “future Paul” — and he said he was, and I got
extremely excited. (Here, Mary’s dog starts growling and barking)
I was very excited that I had connected with
“future Paul” because I had been attempting to do that for several
months, and the thing that he said to me is — I asked him how many
focuses I had — “I’d like to reduce the number of aspects for now,” which
I interpreted basically as a less is more kind of thing, or simplifying
things. But anyway, this is a broader experience that was very
significant to me, and I’d appreciate your comments.
ELIAS: This is what we may classify, so to
speak, as a projection, and I express to you that you have also allowed
yourself to be interactive with an aspect of essence.
Now; let me clarify that this aspect of
essence is not necessarily an aspect of you within this focus, for in
allowing yourself to be connecting with another aspect of self within
this focus — this would also be termed an alternate self — you shall
experience some elements of barriers, so to speak, that you shall not be
threatening your individual identity. This is a different type of action
than you have created in this projection. (1)
In this projection, you have allowed yourself
to be encountering another aspect of essence, and as you have allowed
yourself to image this aspect of essence, you also are offering yourself
information in the direction to not be moving quite so singularly.
Are you understanding?
PAUL: Yes.
ELIAS: This provides you with the opportunity
to engage another aspect of essence, which you may incorporate as a
trigger, so to speak, to be offering yourself more information and to be
offering yourself information of self that shall move you more easily
into directions of acceptance of self.
And in this, the aspect of essence is
communicating information to you to hold yourself in relaxation, and
therefore allow yourself to open to more than you view — more than merely
this one aspect, more than singular directions.
You hold a belief that you may not access or
acquire information if you are not holding a specific direction, that you
need be mapping out, so to speak, a particular direction, and you shall
direct yourself in a manner in which you shall engage a particular
journey, and therefore you shall offer yourself the information that you
seek, and if you are not moving in this type of action, you shall be
creating chaos, and in that chaos, you shall not be understanding what
you offer to yourself, and therefore you shall not assimilate the
information.
What the aspect is expressing to you is not
to concern yourself so very intensely with one particular direction, and
to relax and allow yourself to merely draw yourself into the information
that you shall present yourself with, and you need not hold specifics to
be offering yourself much information and much direction.
Are you understanding?
PAUL: Yes, I am. Just one follow-up question.
In this particular experience, and in others during the summer when I’ve
connected with a person, so to speak, as I image them, they change faces,
shall we say. They morph from one aspect into another, and it’s slow,
it’s gentle, and I’m very comfortable with it. I’m wondering if this is
further imagery to reinforce that nudge to not focus so singularly.
ELIAS: Yes, you are correct.
PAUL: So I should open to that, and go with
that, and take it wherever it may take me.
ELIAS: Wherever you are taking yourself!
(Grinning)
PAUL: Of course! (They both laugh) Well,
thank you so much. This has been marvelous! You’ve given me, as always, a
tremendous amount to think about until we meet again.
ELIAS: And we shall!
PAUL: Yes, we shall, old friend.
ELIAS: And you may offer my greetings to Tyl,
and I shall express encouragement to you on your continued quest.
(Laughing)
PAUL: (Laughing) Thank you so much!
ELIAS: You are very welcome. To you, my
friend, I offer great affection, and shall be offering energy to you in
your movement presently. To you this day, I express quite lovingly, au
revoir.
PAUL: Au revoir.” [session #493, October 26,
1999]
(1) Paul’s note: Elias makes an interesting
distinction here based upon another experience that I had discussed with
him in October 1997 and again in March 1999. He said that I connected
with an alternate self at that time.
Here are the excerpts from my discussions
about Manson, an alternate self from October 1997 during my first private
session with Elias:
PAUL: "Another dream experience that
happened recently, a very lucid experience where I get this tingling, a
crystal clear tingling in my forehead, as objective as I am now
perceiving you. I asked Caroll [Paul], not using that name, to present
him/her/itself, and a focus appeared, and I got the name ‘Manson.’ It was
a fairly average-looking male, older than me, and I was very excited to
see this appear. I tried to engage it in verbal communication and my
throat constricted, and I realized that I was attempting to communicate
in a way that was not as efficient or appropriate, and I choked on it and
I woke up and I was really frustrated. I guess my question is, I had asked
to connect with a future focus – that’s one of my little games I play
with myself – and I’m wondering if this ‘Manson’ aspect is a future
focus, and if you could comment on the type of communication I was
attempting and not quite succeeding at?
ELIAS: There are two elements to this
intersection; one being that you have presented yourself with a future
focus, which is not a focus in your linear terms yet, for presently it is
an aspect of this focus. It is a future focus simultaneously, but within
your time thickness and your linear time designations, it also is an
aspect of this present focus; an alternate self. Therefore, you
experience difficulty in communication with this alternate self, for you
create a barrier. This would be your barrier that you have created
between these two aspects of this focus, in like manner to Michael’s
[Mary’s] viewing of an alternate self, but not holding the ability to
penetrate a field to touch the other aspect, creating a barrier between
the two. Communication was allowed, but no contact was allowed, for a
veil was placed between, for this is a slightly different action than
intersecting with another focus. If allowing yourself to be connecting
with this same aspect, which IS the other focus, you shall be more
successful. If pursuing connecting or intersecting with this aspect as an
aspect of you presently, you shall be experiencing slight difficulties,
but you may be accomplishing if you are choosing to be pursuing this
area.
PAUL: You mentioned certain parts of the
experience not being allowed. That implies other essences that I’m....
ELIAS: Incorrect! Absolutely incorrect. It is
not allowed by yourself, for it may be threatening to your individual
identity, for this aspect is also you and not separate from you.
VICKI: Can I ask a question about that? So to
go to the analogy of the tree and the branches and the leaves, this
interaction could be viewed as a leaf? Is this correct?
(Vic’s note: this is in reference to Elias’
analogy of essence as a tree. Basically, he said that we could view a
tree as essence, the branches as focuses of essence, the leaves as
alternate selves and probable selves and splinters, and the seeds that
fall to the ground as fragments, which then become an entirely new tree,
but holding all the same qualities as the first tree.)
ELIAS: Correct.
VICKI: But you also said that within the
context of a time thickness, it is also a future focus?
ELIAS: Correct.
VICKI: So does the leaf then turn into a
branch?
ELIAS: They are connected. The leaf and the branch
exist simultaneously, but they are different. They are both elements of
the tree, but they occupy different positions; the branch being the
focus, the leaf being the alternate. They are existing simultaneously.
They are connected. They hold different functions and capacities. It
would be as the leaf fading in and out, being an element of the branch,
but then appearing as the leaf, then appearing as an element of the
branch, and leaving ghost trails of the leaf.
VICKI: So I would imagine that this particular
explanation of this action wouldn’t apply to all of what we consider
alternate selves?
ELIAS: No. (Intently) Within each focus, as I
have expressed, you hold myriads of alternate selves. They are not
necessarily focuses. They are aspects of you, but you view yourselves so
very singularly that you view yourselves as occupying one physical body
with one thought process, with one mind, with one everything, but you are
not. You are myriads of you’s within each focus; and within certain
actions and probabilities, you may be choosing to be creating a focus of
an alternate you, which is within simultaneous time already, but also is
as you within an alternate self. Therefore, you may be interacting with
them each individually, although they are the same. But within the choice
of which direction you focus your attention and choose to be
intersecting, if you are choosing to be intersecting with another focus,
this is not quite as threatening to your individual identity within this
particular focus, for you view within your belief systems that you may
understand that another focus is an aspect of you, but holds its own
integrity and is not you. Within an alternate, this does not exist. This
alternate IS you. It is the same as you, for it is another aspect of you.
Just as you do not divide your emotional
qualities from yourself and assign that they are different entities. You
may be feeling joy or you may be feeling sadness, and these exist within
you as elements of you. You do not separate them out and express, ‘This
individual here is sadness; it walks beside me. This individual here is
joyfulness; it walks beside me. I am neither of these entities, for these
are separate elements of me and they are removed into separate entities.’
You do not view yourself in this manner. In the same respect, you may not
separate alternates either. They are you; but in confronting yourself
with an alternate, it is the same as popping out of yourself one singular
emotion and creating another entity and facing yourself with this other
you, which may not be separated out. You objectively image another image,
another form, for this is what you understand, but this image is not
another form. It is you.
In this, this be the reason that you hold the
threat of identity in viewing an alternate where you do not feel quite
such a threat of individual identity in intersecting with another focus,
for you do hold limited understanding that another focus is not you.
(Vic’s note: Oh, I get it now!)
PAUL: So it was my fear of losing individuality
when confronting myself right here that kept me from communicating with
myself?
ELIAS: And completely intersecting. This is
common. You may, if choosing to be pursuing this avenue and this
intersection, you may be accomplishing in this, although this shall
require more practice than would be necessary within intersection of
another focus." [session #224, October 01, 1997]
PAUL: "... I have another follow-up
question then. In October of 1997, we talked about an experience of mine,
an out-of-body, where I connected with what I believe you termed at that
time as an alternate future self. I did get a name of Manson and a very
clear visual, but I had difficulty communicating and talking. So my
question is, is that focus that I connected with in that experience, is
that one of the focuses that’s probably holding a dissimilar tone?
Because it was difficult for me to communicate. Is that correct?
ELIAS: No. Although you held difficulty in
communication, you did not hold difficulty in accessing.
Many times you may experience difficulty in
your actual objective communication and interaction with another focus.
You are crossing what you may term to be barriers – time dimensions – and
therefore you are engaging different layers of consciousness, and
translations need be placed in order, in a manner of speaking. Therefore,
you shall be experiencing certain elements of difficulty if you are
attempting to be objectively interacting with the other individual.
Be remembering, this other individual IS
another individual, but is also simultaneously you.
Therefore, this creates a difficulty, for
engaging other focuses of essence within physical focus may disrupt your
identity temporarily, as I have expressed previously. Therefore, there
are barriers that you have created within physical focus to be preventing
this action of confusing your individual identity.
In this, a focus which holds a slightly
different tone from yourself ... you shall hold difficulty in accessing
objective awareness of them at all." [session #377, March 23, 1999]
Kris also pointed
out that Dhong-jak-TAAH is a distinct essence tone as different from
Janaki (his essence name for me). This aspect helps me discover other
essence bodies. So that relates to the Manson experience.
Finally, Kris also
did a "booster shot" chant on the TAAH syllable toward the end
of the session for all of us that last only @20 seconds, which like other
chants he's done, acts to focus energy and adds clarity, almost like a
small cup of coffee. It had the same effect on me. I wondered that even
if it's self-hypnosis, I was doing a good job of giving mySelf a boost of
energy. Whatever, it works.
I had begun a brief
internal mantra meditation on the name, and found that the final syllable
did lead my awareness toward a "sweet spot" in my awareness
that is a gateway for projection forms. I could feel a subtle tug of my
awareness on that syllable. So when Kris pulled the last syllable to did
a chant on it, it made a deeper point that anyone can do this with time
and practice.
We ended at 6:32
PM, and I pointed out to Norm, Reta, and Jane that it had been seven
weeks since they last attended a session, and given Kris' accent, his
jargon, and phone noise, it's easy to drop syntax in this current format.
Hell, it's hard enough when we're in physical presence as everyone hears
what they want to hear anyway!
We wished everyone
well, and the next session will be on Halloween, so I told everyone to
come dressed in costumes! It should be a lot of fun, and I know Jo will
do her Day of the Dead celebration again, that she pioneered last year.
Having Trick or Treaters arrive during the session should be most
interesting too!
We had dinner of
delicious veggie lasagna, and garlic bread, with tea, coffee, cookies and
TastyKakes (imported from Philadelphia thanks to my mother!).
Serge called back
to let us know that Kris came through (popped in) twice more afterwards.
We were on desert at the time. But Kris delivered more material on
communications imagery. So we'll wait for the transcript for all that.
All in all, an interesting evening!

We held Dinner and
a Dead Guy #29 last evening. Ester, Paul, and Jo were present on the
Castaic, CA end (Paul T. joined late due to trick or treating), Norm and
Reta Farb attended from Independence, OR, and Mark, Serge, Lida, John,
and Myrna held down the Toronto, ON side of things.
We were using a new
teleconferencing service recommended by a participant on NewWorldView as
a direct result of the communications problems created during our last
session. It's scaleable too and will allow others to join the fun by
registering on the Kris Chronicles website. The cost is $20 and the price
of a long distance call (depending on your rate, it could be only $3/hr.
and the average call lasts between two and two and half hours).
Jo began by reading
a Seasons "homily" on celebrating the passing seasons, seeing
how it was Halloween yesterday, and today is All Saints Day and its many
variations like Day of the Dead celebrated by many Mexican-Americans.
This led to Kris coming through around 4:50 PM PST.
Kris spoke about
the importance of gatherings of people and the need for rituals to
celebrate these gatherings. He wasn't specific or prescriptive, mostly
acting as a reminder of premodern practices lost in the dust of
modernity.
He also spoke about
the dream state, and dream gatherings that mirror physical gatherings.
So again, he
encourage us to reconnect with ancient sacred rituals that connect us
with essence. Not in the sense of empty mouthing of platitudes and empty
movements, but sincere actions that rejuvenate and renew
and remind us of our connections with Source at various times
during the year.
There is a power
when groups convene, and if undertaken for the purpose of communion with
our inner selves, then we affect essence.
Kris used Hitler as
an example of someone who was a master at using gatherings to promote
group connection and spectacle, and challenged us to imagine what it
might be like if a personality emerged who could direct this kind of
group experience for authentic, transformative connection with our
ever-present Source.
We are, by nature,
civilization builders, and create group histories that perpetuate groups
through time. I thought of the Jewish tradition and its six thousand
years of recorded history that give the "tribe" a sense of
purpose and belonging and a future (given the premodern distortions of
"chosen people" which is really an ethnocentric bias that
isolates and separates.)
It is in our best
interest to cultivate relationships. We must begin with Self, and then
apply what we learn to others, since the other is us, thinking of Tat
Tvam Asi, or "thou are that." So interpersonal and
intrapersonal relationships are crucial for a healthy society.
Then, we had a ten
minute "communication breakdown" flashback where Toronto
couldn't hear Castaic or Independence without static. And it was
Halloween! Trick or treaters had begun to knock on our door. I wondered
what other "ghosts" were playing with us? We all redialed back
in, and the connections continued just fine, but it was a weird flashback
to two weeks ago when we had trouble hearing each other.
Once we got back on
track, Kris challenged us to take a few minutes each day and be mindful
and notice those very ancient aspects of Self, and future aspects, and
present aspects present within the same "room" of consciousness
to enjoy the life-giving energies that comes from celebrating and
gathering in groups in the present (I had an impression of Kris' deep
love for the many rituals in various cultures that celebrate the passing
seasons in toto, and how much fulfillment he has experienced in various
lifetimes.)
"Honor the
great gift of relationships = a treasure to be shared, not hoarded!"
During break I
commented on some the Kris' comments about how the elderly are
warehoused, and so on. I made the connection to the big differences
between premodern and modern worldviews, along with emerging postmodern
worldviews that seek to balance some of the inequities of modernity. For
example, Kris suggested that teen violence and angst in general would be
lessened if the youth had something more to look forward to in old age
than being discarded, warehoused, and made consumers for the pharmaceutical
companies.
He made us think
about if the elders had ways to mentor and share wisdom and knowledge
with the young, we would not lose so much practical knowledge. And
further, it would give the elderly something else to do rather than
simple retirement and singing along with the piano lady on Tuesday
evenings.
So the second half
of the session focused on the relationship between young and old, and how
we could greatly improve our culture, particularly in the West where
we've become obsessed with youth, and deny, repress, and marginalize our
own deaths to the extent that the elderly are not prepared for death and
dying at all, and suffer trauma once the grim reaper finally, inexorably
approaches.
I was reminded that
many of the Eastern traditions have practices to help prepare for death.
In particular, the Tibetan Buddhists and Bardo Thodol help us realize
we're as dead as we're ever going to be, when we're fully in touch with
the simple feeling of being, of ever-present awareness.
Kris wished us all
sweet dreams, and suggested, as usual, that we'd experience some of these
concepts in dream state.
So pay attention!
I almost got to ask
about Dhong-jak-taah, but time ran out. So more on my dream yoga progress
later. But I had several lucid dreams and my first encounter with this
aspect or guide the other morning. Interestingly, he appears as a male,
and this time as a clarinet player (thinking back to the African cellist
of previous encounters). So these symbols are closely associated with this
aspect, and I will be mindful for future encounters.
Finally, Jo made a
wonderful roasted tomato, garlic, in olive oil with hallah appetizer that
we noshed on during the session. Dinner was a black bean chili, with
fixins', and desert was various teas with a pumpkin cheese cake.
Who needs Halloween
candy when we have all of that?
Paul and Ester
stayed until 10:15 PM, and a good time was had by all.

We held Dinner and
a Dead Guy #30 last evening. We had tested out a new teleconferencing
service two weeks ago, very affordable (just the price of a long distance
call to Iowa or Las Vegas). So we used it again and were able to add a
bunch of new sites and people. So we had an historic event of sorts last
night in terms of perhaps the first multinational (three countries:
Canada, USA, Netherlands) group channeling session.
In Toronto there
was Serge, Mark, Myrna, John, Shawn, Lida, Andrea, Martin. Norm and Reta
Farb joined in from Independence, OR. In Castaic, were Paul & Jo,
Denise, Jene, and Ester (I note that Paul Tews, a D&DG regular since
the very beginning just moved to Seattle for a one year job stint with
Boeing as a computer programmer. So his presence was and will be sorely
missed). Then, we were joined by Carter in Tennessee, Emmy in the Netherlands
(it was 2AM!), Don "really" Allen in Seattle, WA and Ellen
Gilbert in Delaware.
So we had 19 folks
present, our largest group to date!
We had a little
snafu in getting connected, the phone number Serge sent had one wrong
digit. A few frantic phone calls and emails later, everyone got hooked up
and we were off and running....
Kris came through
and riffed on the nature of this "historic" (my word) gathering
in the context of the process of connecting with essence, or objectively
communication with subjective awareness.
Kris posed a
question to the group: "What is essence?"
Emmy, Don, and
Ellen (maybe others?) all chimed in with variations on the theme, to
which Kris noted that they were all "true but partial" (my term
again, but one that captures the gist). I thought of Korzybski's
"the map is not the territory" in terms of any definition of
essence or even All-That-Is, but we were focused on the essence layer.
Kris offered a nice
Zen-flavored definition: "Essence is the sum total of our being, but
the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts." (my
paraphrase)
There's more, of
course, but I'm only providing snapshots.
Kris also went into
an extended bit, meditation on the expansive nature of essence and how
different perspectives may be used in which to experience "wider
awareness."
Toward the end,
Emmy wanted to ask a question, but Kris told her to wait, and write it
down if necessary.
We had a 12 minute
break @5:35 PM. Emmy mentioned that she had had a dream before the
session in which she was "moving" inside her body from a
different perspective, and that it was exactly what Kris had talked about
this his little exercise. Interesting sync. More conversation ensued
about transcribing the sessions (Ellen is doing that now), and even how
we've now developed a "semi-pro" version of web publishing that
makes these (and Elias') session available to the public. Towards the end
I brought up Emmy's dream, and her earlier dream that she posted on Ellen's Inner Visions Journal and noted the
precognitive elements it contained.
Kris returned just
as I was finishing my comments. He commented on how various religions and
arts have always attempted to explain, map, and express the nature of
essence in relation to the focus personality. But sometimes it's easy to
get lost in the translations themselves, which end up distorting things
as history and postmodern critiques all attest.
Kris used a
metaphor of vehicle and driver for objective and subjective awareness,
and pointed out how we've become so identified with the body and five
sense perceptions that we tend to confuse that for "the real"
or permanent. In other words, it's easy to confuse the vehicle (body
senses/focus) for the driver (essence).
He also showed how
in waking state our attention drifts and we actually contact essence. A
day-dream is one simple example. But these are legitimate if subtle
communications with essence. I was reminded of Elias' communications with essence that greatly
elaborate this idea. The point is that we are essence and much closer
than we realize, it's just that we look outside of ourSelf for our divine
source, and it's nested within our awareness and energy bodies all along.
Coinkidinkily,
today's Zen Calendar quote reads:
"Not knowing
how hear the truth [of essence] is, we seek it far away." ~ Hakuin
Interestingly, Kris
harped on how these communications, noticing, identifying, and
recognizing them gets easier with practice. I was reminded of the
essential Sethian mantra, "you get what you concentrate on, there is
no other main rule." So if we learn to concentrate on these avenues
of communication (dreams, impressions, impulses, emotions, body symptoms,
etc.) they all provide direct interaction with essence (there is no
separation, but outer ego sure maintains the divine camouflage!).
This is really a
simple process! Simply NOTICE! that mood, feeling tone, meditative mood
that seeks communication with essence.
Kris opened the
floor to questions @6:08PM.
Mark let Emmy go
first, and she recounted her recent dream about Kris' exercise. Kris
acknowledged Emmy and pushed her to expand beyond conventional
precognitive elements and definitions to see what lies beyond.... He also
reinforced the importance of journaling and mapping our dream
imagery, symbols, triggers, focal points, etc. to make the connections,
and how we often have precognitive elements in our nightly dreams but
miss the connections because we don't yet follow our dreaming lives.
Don asked about his
recent emotional communications and Kris pointed out three layers or
perspectives in dealing with these, and the furthest one could be ten
minutes from NOW. He challenged Don to observe what happens if he does
this the next time. I thought this might come in handy for playing the
lotto .
Jene asked a
crystal ball question (Elias' term) about a job situation and whether it
would pan out, and Kris guided her to be examine her own beliefs, intent,
and needs on the issue, since everything follows from that anyway!
Kris then came back
with a question for "Y'all" (which cracked me up, because it
was clearly a jibe at Carter, our Southern friend from
Kentucky/Tennessee. "the next time we communicate with essence, ask
yourSelf why is has been so difficult to do this?"
Ironically, as Kris
was slowly baiting us with the question, two people on the Castaic end
started coughing. And having been in this game for years now, I
immediately felt their resistance to even asking this question, but when
it obliterated the key word = "difficult" I got frustrated.
So when Kris signed
off I immediately asked the group to confirm the question, much to the
defensive "posturing" of Jene and Jo who were the coughers. We
laughed about this shortly afterward, as I asserted my right to be
frustrated by not hearing the key word.
Anyway, Ester was
in a zone and she heard that correctly in spite of the coughs, and
earlier had heard the word "static" which ironically was
obliterated by line static. In fact, Carter asked at the end if anyone
had any static problems and I chimed in with that earlier example. And
Ellen and others chimed in with 3-4 instances in the closing ten minutes,
which we confirmed on our end.
But over all, the
session was very clear, and everyone, including Kris came through just
fine on the new telcon service we're using.
Kris popped back
in, as we were discussing this, and rephrased the question as "Why
do you make it so difficult for essence to communicate with you? Why are
you so afraid to love?"
We gabbed a bit,
thanked everyone as signed off.
Jo had made roasted
tomatoes and garlic in olive oil with French bread as an appetizer.
Dinner was a vegetarian Shepard's Pie with Hallah bread, and desert was
my favorite a cinnamon, chocolate-chip, sour cream coffee cake with tea
and coffee.
I spoke to Serge
briefly this morning as I always do after a group session, and Kris came
back for another 20 minutes as that large group pondered various
questions. So we'll look forward to reading the full transcript when it
comes out.

We held Dinner and
a Dead Guy #31 last night. We met some new folks, too. Jo, Paul H.,
Jeanette (Jo's mom), and our new neighbor Gordon were in the Castaic
Group (I will note again the regular Paul Tews is in Seattle on a one
year engineering gig). We also told folks to participate from home due to
the heavy traffic Sunday night at the end of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The 5 becomes a parking lot for Southbound traffic for 5-6 hours every
year.
Norm and Reta
joined us from Independence, OR. Serge, Mark, Jackie, Michelle, John, and
Myrna joined from the Toronto side (where they had a blizzard earlier in
the week, courtesy on an Alberta Clipper!). There was a new group
"the Russians" from New Jersey that included Ella, Inna,
Natasha, and Daniel. The call was rounded out by singles: Anya in Salt
Lake City, UT, Ellen Gilbert in Delaware, Emmy Van Swaaj from the
Netherlands, Denise Mazzoco from North Hollywood, CA (and a D&DG
regular), Don "really" Allen from Seattle, Tom from Oahu, HI,
Jon from New York, and Kaust (pronounced "cost") also from
Delaware. Twenty-four souls from three countries and twelve locations,
further imagery of expansion.
We began around
4:47 PM. Kris surprised me by asking the group twice in the early going
to please use the mute function to keep down background noise, as we
could hear heaving breathing and even some side bar kind of background
rumblings.
Kris started with
the holiday theme, as we just finished Thanksgiving in the US, which
kicks off the Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, and whatever else around much
of the planet. Kris reminded us that this is generally a time of year for
"spiritual renewal" and in the West our Judeo-Christian
traditions are actually derived from Vedic origins in the East. So Christ
or Christos is actually a premodern form of the earlier Krishna featured
in the Bhagavad Gita.
For thousands of
years, we understood the esoteric meaning of Christ as a "higher state"
within a human being, something that we "move towards." Ancient
gnostic groups in Britannia, the Mediterranean, and Central American
cultures over 2,000 years ago knew this (as an aside, according to social
anthropologists, ancient shamanism "evolved" towards direct
experience of Source, emptiness, shunyata, Tao, Brahmajyoti, etc. during
the axial period that began some 2,500 years ago with folks like Buddha,
Zoroaster, Christ, and others.).
So this "state
of Christos consciousness" has been know about in the esoteric or
inner traditions for several thousand years now. This has been
"forgotten" in the modern era (and some, myself included, argue
that this is a pathological split between modern science and premodern
religion. That is, modern science threw out God with the premodern
prerational fairy-tale bathwater. Emerging postmodern worldviews are
attempting to heal this split).
Again, the point is
that each one of us has direct access to this "state" of
Christ, so that it is possible for each of us to experience inner
revelation and enlightenment so that we "become" or
"realize" our own Christhood, Buddha-mind, Tao, or All-That-Is.
This has been
distorted, repressed, and marginalized in the modern era.
Kris also has begun
adapting some Eliasian terms and concepts, notably "the remembrance
of essence" to point out the same kind of potential experiences.
Kris also talked
about his use of myth (which is very similar to Seth's). He doesn't use
as a conventional falsehood, but as, and I find this quite beautiful,
"a specific coded language that is meant to awaken the echoes of our
own heroic dimension, Buddhahood, Christhood."
He qualified that
is not his intention to invalidate others' traditions or customs, but it
is his intent to point out that these stories always represent
"greater" events as they relate to our manifestation into
physical expression.
(Kris also now
regularly uses Elias' "expression of essence" in his own way,
which I also find quite beautiful.)
All of this is
worthy of celebration!! And Kris would go on to use this celebration
theme until the very end of the session.
(First break @ 5:12
PM)
During break there
were various conversations. It was difficult to hear Ella and her group,
the connection was not good on their end throughout.
Kris returned with
mythos and how it will always be present in some form (this is an
interesting sync with my Seth on a Conscious Creation Myth series too. No
accidents, I know. I used this time of year to explore it as it leads
nicely right into the main Holiday season in the West.)
Myths evolve, and
transform and are meant to convey info on origins, purpose, etc.
Kris then something
intriguing, namely, that there are other beings that examine the myths we
create. They are viewed with the utmost interest (for example, our
current myths have moons, planets, solar systems, galaxies, etc. and not
all do.)
Kris said we could
AAA (acknowledge, address, accept = his variation of Elias' NIRAA) the
fact that we created each day uniquely. And what sort of celebration do
we offer ourSelves? He ended with this rhetorical question.
(Second break @5:33
PM.)
Conversation
included someone asking for clarification on these "beings"
that Kris hinted at. Mark said he'd follow up on that.
Kris returned and
opened the floor to questions. Ella asked about these "beings"
that are interested in our myths, and were they physical, nonphysical,
essence, dreams, or what, to which Kris replied, "All the
above."
Kaust asked about
how to celebrate ourSelves when we don't yet accept ourSelves, and Kris
replied, "Just do it!" Just like the Nike commercial I thought!
But seriously, Kris said we all learn something by teaching it. So just
try it, and do it, and the rest will follow from there.
Anya had a
question, and Reta interjected something about Akashic Records and Seth
and Jane, to which I added that Seth never went into those in depth and
Jane's Psychic Library (Psychc Politics) was an example of her
accessing the heroic dimensions and personages, which she talks about at
length. Jane received the Codicils from her Library. But I mentioned that
Edgar Cayce may have talked about the Akashic Records, and that we don't
really yet understand just what is involved. Elias also uses the term energy
deposits and Jane Roberts accessed "worldviews" (thinking
of her worldview books on Cezanne, William James, and Rembrandt).
Denise asked about
how to access these kinds of "energies" and how they're
accessed by other beings? To which Kris replied through dream states,
through focus versions of history, through sharing energies outside
conscious minds (essence exchange). He reminded us that there are no
closed systems, and all is accessible in theory through various
"psychological atmospheres" and there is constant exchange on
various "layers" within All-That-Is.
Kris mentioned that
Quadrant 1 (same as Seth's Framework 1, Elias' Regional Area 1 and Kris'
Level 1) and Quadrant 2 (Frameworks ... 2, 3,4...) are involved in these
exchanges where various cultures are accessed.
So I surmise that
"the Akashic Records" are located in Quadrant 2 (which contains
"low subtle" areas or fields of consciousness).
Kris challenged us
all to wake up tomorrow and celebrate the exuberance and great energy
that we each are!!
The Christness, Buddhaness
will shine forth wherever we go!
Keep going, on the
second and third day, keep going.... "that is our lovely challenge
to you..."
(End @6:11 PM.)
(Pop-in based on
closing group discussion @6:20 PM.)
Kris riffed on
"aspects of essence" (another Eliasian theme, and one developed
by Jane Roberts) in that objective and subjective "layers" of
exchange are expanded in the dream state (so this was a reminder to do
our dream practices!).
Learn to recognize
a deeper tone within yourSelf that promotes celebration!!
"Tis the
season to be jolly....."
In the
after-conversation, Jo mentioned that Kris' celebration theme dove-tailed
into a Topic she has been running in these Forums for the past two months
called Self-Appreciation.
This is the kind of
sync that we love between Seth, Elias, and Kris. Also, I made the
connection that Elias has been riffing in the past two group sessions in
2005 on the theme of appreciation, so much so that he's given two
appreciation practices (there are others, but see the July 2005, and October 2005 group sessions).
Also, Jo had not
read any of these sessions when she decided to start her Topic on
appreciation (aka celebration), so that's another interesting sync. And,
how clever of Kris to work it in with the current Holiday energy!
Finally, last but
not least, Joanne cooked a Greek dish (mousaka), and we had lemon-pound
cake and tea for dessert. Gordon went home around 8:15, and Jo and Jeanette
conked out earlier. Which left me celebrating my evening with Sunday
night football and Lakers' basketball while musing over the wonderful day
I had.....

We had 19 folks
participate. Jo, Ester, and mySelf on the Castaic end.
I didn't take notes
for a change, as I was tired by session time. So my summary is really in
three main parts:
The opening
dissertation lasted about 35 minutes. Kris began with a reference to the
previous telcon's "civilization building" theme. He also used
the term "intestinal fortitude" several times in reference to
the courage involved in building our current civilization with all its
various aspects. In general, Kris led the group through his version of
who is this "you" who is creating 100% of your reality? Who is
the "you" involved in civilization building? Which is really
exploring ego, or focus personality, in relation to All-That-is. It
quickly gets BIG whenever he dips into the "unknown" reality.
Kris also did a
riff on Elias' answer to why did the chicken cross the road? =
"For the experience," in which he challenged us to look at our
experiences in all their variety and seek to understand why we are here
pursuing them? Why are we creating them in the first place?
During the first
break there was a lot of static and the group spent 10 minutes trying to
isolate the line. Then there was 5-10 minutes of discussion. Norm, a
retired physicist in Oregon, updated the group on this progress on Kris'
healing machine (he has crystals and motors....), and mentioned that he's
been studying Tiller's work and other related things. He mentioned that
physicists, even Nobel Prize winners, are leaning toward a refined
"intelligent design" explanation of creation.
When Kris returned
he acknowledged this important direction, but cautioned that the work
could be hijacked by fundamentalist agendas (as is happening currently.
For example, the rubric of Intelligent Design also includes claims of
dinosaurs existing on Noah's Ark, and other prerational, mythic religious
claims along side of interesting arguments that show inconsistencies and
anomolies in current Darwinian/Dawkinsian evolutionary theory).
I noted to myself
that Seth's Dream-Art Science is a better moniker
with less baggage associated with it.
The second
dissertation got into Aspect Psychology, and multiple co-primary aspects in
other dimensions vs. primary aspects in ours. We talked about trace
elements we call multiple personality disorder that are pathological in
the sense that they're fragmented and non-integrated. This is often the
result of severe trauma. But there are also examples of multiples in our
dimension that have experienced NO trauma, and consists of, more or less
fully integrated multiples co-existing that are aware of each other and
just fine with the arrangement!
I also asked Kris
about Elias' concept of primary aspects in relation
to these other dimensions, as an integrated set of co-primary aspects
residing within a single body. To which he replied, "indeed."
This means that the blueprint of primary aspects are a deeper structure within
essence (the subtle field) that gets explored in all its variety in
various Framework 1s, or what Kris calls Level 1s. So that was a light
bulb moment for me.
It is a
parsimonious design that serves as a seed for all sort of complex
evolutionary unfoldings in various physical dimensions.
I also pointed out
that Elias also talks about alternate selves within his Aspect Psychology to
show how we, as primary aspects, consist of sub-selves or
aspects. For example, we don't experience rage and bliss simultaneously.
They are distinct STATES, each connected to its own alternate self aspect
that has its own history within the larger primary aspect. And if we
scale this up to a dimension where 7-8 co-primary aspects exist, then the
permutations become mind boggling. Talk about holding conflicting beliefs
within the moment by various aspects!
To which Kris went
into new definitions for multiple orgasms, and we had a tons of laughs
over that one!
After the session,
I also mentioned for the record that Seth had provided an example of this
very concept in Seth Speaks. (I did a quick search and could
not find the reference, so it may be elsewhere.) Also, all the material
on probabilities and probable selves from Seth and Elias relate to this
discussion as well, and provide additional concepts that hint at how BIG
multidimensional personality really is, and how we as a species are
widening awareness to include more and more aspects of essence in waking
state.
For eats, Jo
started with an appetizer call "baked brie" with almonds and
dried cherries served with French bread. It was delicious. For our main
course, she serve Tofurkey, a tofu based turkey substitute with real
looking skin made of soy! She added a mix of potatoes, sweet potatoes,
leeks, carrots, and garlic. It came with stuffing and gravy from a
company called Now & Zen. We joked that it was so California! And the
picture is somewhat scary-looking, but it was delicious and highly
recommended. For desert we had a variety of teas with Christmas cookies
baked by my mom, shipped in from Pennsylvania.
We had fun with the Tofurkey, so much so that Carter actually called us
after the telcon to get the details! We had some laughs and a good time.
Ester left around 9
PM, and we cleaned up and went to dreamland.

Last night was our
33rd Dinner and a Dead Guy (though the formal name is Kris: The
International Sessions, it is still a dinner and dead guy for us in
Castaic. So it's now a desert topping AND a floor wax ).
On the Castaic end there was Robn, her son Blaze, his girlfriend Jess,
and Jess' mom Carol, Ester, Paul, Jo, and the ever-present Rumi the
kitty.
All together there
were 18 folks including Myrna, John, Mark, and Serge in Toronto, Ella in
New Jersey, Tom in Oahu, HI, Norm & Reta in Oregon, Lise in Oregon,
Anya in Utah, and Steven in Virginia. The session began around 4:45 PM.
Kris opened with a
"year in review" theme, which led into the session's main
theme, which he said was intended as a philosophical challenge: "The
Year of Enlightenment By Compassion." Now Kris defines enlightenment
as the remembrance of essence and Self, not as an end point or perfected
finished state, but as a widening of awareness from our present state of
being in the world.
Regarding
compassion, it can be demonstrated in various ways: teachings and
philosophies that promote Self-realization (remembrance) within our
intents. Another way includes acts of kindness, mercy, healing, etc.
whether of the ordinary or extraordinary kind. So the teachings are a
means to an end, the action of compassion. All of the authentic religions
feature teachings on compassion through action, service, and Be-ing.
All this occurs
within a larger developmental process, unique to whatever field of
consciousness we wake up in every day.
Now, when it comes
to various stories from the world's religions dealing with compassion,
Kris cautioned us to take them as allegory, NOT as literal, empirical
fact. So tales of giving life to the dead, sight to the blind, hearing to
the deaf all have deeper meanings intended to AWAKEN awareness, be-ing.
So there is a kind of spiritual death, blindness, and deafness being
lifted in these tales, so spiritual life, sight, and hearing are the
results.
And acts of
compassion are trademarks of a different state of perception within
physical life. Much of these esoteric, or inner, gnostic meanings get
lost in translation in various exoteric, exterior, materialist formats in
the world's present religions.
We are still very
much in an egocentric or "it's all about me" individual STAGES
as well as collective ERA (or historical stage). The deeper, gnostic
nature of compassion gets lost in that kind of narcistic, ego-bound
focus. This is not BAD, it's simply a STAGE of our overall development
and cultural evolution.
The STATE of
Buddhahood, or Christhood is possible but forbidden or neglected even
though various attempts continue to be made to make teachings, practices
available to access our true, deeper nature as spiritual BE-ings.
Kris pointed out,
again, that our Western, Judeo-Christian worldviews are an amalgam of
preceding, premodern worldviews including Mythras, and the Cult of the
White Bull (Persian), Krishna (India), Dionysus (Greek), and Isis,
Osiris, and Horus (Egyptian trinity). That is to say that the myths and
stories of these traditions were adopted, modified, and subsumed by the
emergence Christian worldview when it was born 2,000 years ago (which is
a drop in the bucket, because human history goes back HUNDREDS of millions
of years on this planet according to Kris).
Kris challenged us
to review these ancient systems and make the connections to see the
larger pattern of development. As Mark said during break, "we need
to know where we've been to know where we're going." So looking at
history and tracing roots of development can be very helpful.
Again, if we can
learn to access innate STATES of compassion, states of BE-ing that
include transegoic awareness, we could further enrich our modern and
postmodern lives. There's no need to pursue vows of poverty, and reject
all material things, but find a balance, an equilibrium between material
and spiritual, outer and inner, objective and subjective pursuits to live
IN the world while we are privileged to call it HOME. That is,
materialism, consumerism while having certain benefits, will never lead
to our greatest fulfillment, individually or collectively.
All STATES are not
fully translatable into egoic terms... which led into a chant: 4-5
syllables....
My impression,
having closed my eyes, was of a sun/flower bursting open with vital
energy. It radiated from my heart and forehead energy centers. It was
very focusing as I meditated on it over the phone. We did have some drop
out, as others mentioned during break.
Kris continued with
compassion as the common denominator in the world's religions and
exemplified by various "avatars" (Like Buddha, Christ, Lao Tzu,
Mohammed, etc.). These avatars themSelves were HEALED by compassion and
then attempted to share that with others, thus these "heroes of
compassion" are driven to help others to live, see, and hear
spiritually while IN the world.
These allegories
and allegorical "characters" (i.e. avatars) are all a means to
teach ourSelves about the Heroic Dimensions and fields of objective and
subjective experience.
Kris then went into
the first parable that he's presented in a group session according to
Serge, with whom I spoke this morning to verify (Serge mentioned that he
used The Man and the Snake parable with Mark in a private session, so
this was an interesting turn of events).
The gist of the
story is that the man lives on a mountain barely eeking out a living with
his family, and complains about his miserable situation. He meets a
"stranger" who ends up pointing out that despite the poor
growing conditions, he lives on a mountain of pure gold. But the man
refuses to change anything, so used to his misery.... The moral of the
story? Well, that's in the eye of the beholder, and there's 3-4 levels on
which this story works.
There was further
discussion during break and even some follow up questions to Kris later.
After the second
break, Kris came back and took questions. So he's being rather formal
with these expanded, international sessions, tending to lecture for the
first 30-60 minutes and take questions, relevant questions at the end.
Steven, from
Virginia, asked about "being in the now" in relation to Kris'
challenge for us to seek our Western Juedeo-Christian roots. But you'll
have to read the transcript for the details.
We ended around
6:22 PM, chatted for 10-15 as people said their "happy new
year's" and "goodbyes."
Jo cooked another
feast. The appetizers included 7-Layer Dip and Chips, Polenta with Chili
& Cheese, Salad, Oreo Pie & Cookies, Tea for desert (no coffee
drinkers this evening).
Our new neighbor
Gordon, joined us for dinner. He attended a D&DG six weeks ago, and
was curious what Kris talked about. We also chatted about this Buddhist
interests.
Overall, another
fun night!
The next D&DG
will be in two weeks, on Janaury 22, 2006.
P.S. We missed you

Last evening we
participated in Dinner and a Dead Guy #34. On the Castaic side, we had
Jo, myself, Gail, and Carl. On the Toronto end: Serge, Mark, and Michele.
In Delaware: Ellen, Cathy, Brian, and Evelyn. Rounding out things were
Tom in Oahu, and Anya in Utah, 13 in all.
Kris opened the
session with the usual pleasantries, but interestingly, made a comment
acknowledging that the session occurred during our American football
playoffs, something I said I was taping before the session. And as it
turned out, this was the reason that Carter in Tennessee chose not to
participate, as the NFC Championship game is a high priority (for those
engaging their inner-Zuli appreciation of these events).
As he continued,
Kris asked for a recap of the previous group telcon whose theme was The
Year of Enlightenment by Compassion. Mark put Ellen on the spot,
since she had transcribed the session, and she offered some fragments,
and other folks then chimed in with bits and pieces to get the ball
rolling.
This set the stage
for continued exploration and discussion, as Kris challenged our
assumptions of how "enlightenment" is defined because there are
many different interpretations. He then asked, "What are some of the
conventional definitions of enlightenment." I offered that it is a
type of awakening to and presence within Source for the focus personality
(that's my current understanding of Advaita, Vajrayana, Dzogchen, and
other Eastern systems that promote the concept of enlightenment). Others
added variations.
Kris went on to say
that most deal with a commitment to be a mouth-piece for a "deity du
jour", one that usually included a vow of renunciation of the flesh
(a sinful-self or flawed self variation), and the ideals of some kind of
ego annihilation.
All cultures have
individuals who gain enlightenment based on local cultural
interpretations, that is, local cultural constructions. This isn't to
invalidate the condition, but situate it in the ongoing ebb and flow of
consciousness in the world of space and time. So
"enlightenment" is common in some form to all the world's great
religions.
Therefore,
enlightenment IS innate to human nature, and we all have the potential,
however, few ever experience it.
He briefly
mentioned Ruburt (Jane Roberts) as someone who was enlightened (I only
later wondered how that could be in the context of earlier comments
several years ago that Jane's sinful self was the "psychological
cancer" that caused her death. Perhaps enlightenment is only
permanant, stable access to Source, since the body must be eventually
disengaged from in some fashion. But why such a painful, dramatic choice
at the peak of her career? If THAT's an example of enlightenment, then
most of our assumptions about the state are way off base.)
Kris did go on to
say the in Jane's case, enlightenment is defined as having direct waking
access to Source, not just in words but as translated into action and
deeds. (I thought of her Seth books, poetry, fiction, worldview and
children's books as expressions of her access to various Aspects of
Source).
Kris then moved
onto compassion, which he defined as those deeds or actions motivated by
the previous defintion of enlightenment, again, as direct, stable access
to Source (or what Elias would call subjective awareness in all its
variations).
Further,
enlightenment is a process of remembrance or "remembering"
essence (which Elias defines not as memories, but an action or state of
being). This is another way of saying "connecting with Source."
Over the next
century, there exists the potentials for greater numbers of people
experiencing "enlightenment" in this context (and that's
consonant with Seth's and Elias' descriptions of the 2075 probabilities
or the shift in consciousness). However, before enlightenment we go to the
bathroom, and after enlightenment we still go to the bathroom (i.e. our
shit still stinks). So again, our projections of enlightenment are not
what this condition really is, since it includes our physical nature,
embraces it, understands the sacred bond between flesh and spirit that
make this life possible.
(Now, Kris has
talked about stages of development but missed the opportunity to add some
depth regarding how enlightenment, by his defintion, is attainable as a
STATE and a STAGE of development. Granted, if I were more prepared I
could have mustered some leading questions, but still, he's the sage on
the stage! Anyway, according to Vedanta and Vajrayana, we experience the
STATE of enlightenment every night during our deep, dreamless sleep
cycles, only 99.9999% of us don't recall this. That is, we are not AWAKE
and thus don't "remember" our deep connection with Source every
sleep cycle. Further, in terms of STAGES, enlightenement in this
definition may well be its own developmental line or stream, per Wilber's
AQAL, so that we can gain the "remembrance" and have a wide
awareness in that area, and yet be very underdeveloped in other lines,
e.g., emotional, interpersonal, moral, linguistic, mathematical, musical,
and so on. In this integral context then, enlightenment ain’t all it's
cracked up to be (!) in the sense that it's "just" the
remembrance of Source, but our shit still smells, and we may not be able
to hit a baseball, or fix and car engine, etc. We continue to live in
the world though we fully realize we are not ultimately
limited to being only of this world.)
Also, as we
experience enlightenment physically, it is not a final STATE or STAGE,
because our consciousness continues AFTER physical focus. That is, Kris
went into the BIG area and reminded us that we are simultaneously nested
within a multidimensional gestalt (that I call I-I-I, Seth calls All-That-Is, Elias calls "all
of consciousness). So we as focus personalities are never really
as separated from I-I-I as our present experience often seems to
suggest.
Now this doesn't
mean that we are gods in the premodern mythic-religious sense, that's a
distortion. (People who are drawn to this material intuit that the BLUE
[in Spiral Dynamics integral terms] worldview is too literal and
superstitious, not based on rational, empirical evidence much of the
time, and so the GREEN, or postmodern worldview understands that these
are symbols of deeper Aspects of I-I-I, and that the multidimensional gestalts
Kris, Elias, and Seth discuss are symbolic of our deeper nonphysical
nature.)
This led into what
Mark and Serge call "Rolling Thunder," when Kris' voice rises
with a passionate tone calling for us to remember the deep and simple
connections between our cells, selves, and divinity.
During the first
break Serge mentioned that he was pretty deep under during the first 25
minutes. He usually yawns once or twice entering trance, but this time it
was more sustained, five or six times, and wham, he felt like he went
down a deep cliff into the opening of the session. (This is an
interesting difference in the energy exchange between Serge and Kris
compared to Mary and Elias. From my observations, Mary usually goes down
deep and is long gone into her "holding within the wave" of energy in a
deep, formless state. Serge experiences more "closeness" to
waking state, and has a sense of bits and pieces of what was discussed.
Sort of like dream fragments or impressions, similar to the descriptions
of Jane Roberts's Seth trances, whereas Mary recalls nothing at all, zip,
zero, which implies a deeper trance or dissociation from the energy
exchanged content.
After the break
Kris continued with enlightenment, there are similarities in the STATES
experienced, but they are couched in unique (or eccentric) cultural
guises. Still there are common denominators (hinting that this is a valid
STATE and possible to identify empirically, thinking of brain imaging in
concert with first person reports).
There is no single
definitive STATE of enlightenment that is identical 100% across cultures
(and I would suggest the same is true with STAGES. What's the difference?
As Ken Wilber says," STATES are free, but STAGES are earned,"
meaning that we each experience a STATE of enlightenment every 24 hour
cycle during deep, dreamless sleep, but to develop into a permanant
STAGE, which Wilber lists as the highest realization possible in physical
focus, requires growth and transformation since we are each born at STAGE
one, namely, egocentric. In Wilber's AQAL or integral operating system,
IOS, the highest STAGE is called Kosmocentric or nondual union with form
and emptiness.)
Now, Kris went on
to say that the STAGE of enlightenment is not a "soupy One-ness"
or ego-obliteration in the premodern conventional sense as it's often
misinterpreted. There is ALWAYS an outer ego construction as long as
we're physical (it's just that when we develop our spiritual line into
the Kosmocentric STAGE, our outer ego is so expanded, stretched, WIDENED,
so as to constantly identify with I-I-I, all the while understanding that the
little "I" is local to the physical construction or physically
manifest focus personality Aspect of I-I-I.)
Kris mentioned that
differentiation and non-differentiation, duality and nonduality, nonBardo
and Bardo are no longer necessary and yet, there is an understanding of
individuality within simultaneous I-I-I-ness.
Kris mentioned
Quadrant 4, or what he calls core light (similar to the Tibetan
Clear Light of Dzogchen and Vajrayana Buddhism).
This led into
another Rolling Thunder riff pointing out that conventional, premodern
religious beliefs are way too limiting.
Then he went back
to compassion. It is an intrinsic part of our nature and our creaturehood
(I was reminded of Seth's natural grace). We can only become enlightened
through connecting with our blood, bones, eyes (our bios and physios
energies, along with our noos energies) as expressions of essence,
of Source, to remember our roots, where we come from. (I noted that while
Kris acknowledged the importance of our genetics, or the Upper Right or
behavioral aspects of Wilber's AQAL, the Upper Left or intentionality
aspects pre-exist physical manifestation. That is, our first person
perspectives pre-exist as essence in the subtle field of consciousness
BEFORE they are manifest into Quadrant 1/Framework 1.)
Kris then opened
the floor to questions: I attempted to articulate a question about
different "species of enlightenment" experienced by various
Aspects of I-I-I within his four Quadrants cosmology. He
rephrased it as what kind of enlightenment experiences are experienced
within all the clusters of consciousness, noted is was an interesting
question, and yet it was almost impossible to describe in our linear
language and concept maps.
What I was trying
to articulate, was the gnawing and growing impression that the kind of
enlightenment we discuss in relation to development in physical form, in
Quadrant 1, is unique ONLY to Quadrant 1 experience or constructions. But
in Quadrants 2, 3, and 4, each has a unique "species" of
consciousness that experiences duality and nonduality, differentiation
and nondifferentiation, Bardo and nonBardo, etc. in uniquely different
ways, and are actually part of what helps us distinguish Aspects nested
within those Quadrants. In other words, it helps to define these
different "fields of nested conscousness."
And yet,
paradoxically, I-I-I exist within form and emptiness
simultaneously forever, "always already" so this game of
duality and nonduality, etc. gets expressed as unique "species"
within the different Quadrants. Anyway, Kris gave a lengthy answer, and I
attempted to summarize as best I could, to which he replied it was
adequate. I took this to mean that there will always be certain ineffable
expressions of I-I-I that are just not translatable in to
physical form and languages, but accessible only through direct inner
experience. So the answers ARE available, and this is not some esoteric
mysterious concept.
There was also a
mention that compassion is freely given, unconditionally without
expectation of a return or payoff.
We had another
break during which I mentioned two books by Ken Wilber that were related
to this discussion of enlightenment and compassion: One Taste and The Simple Feeling of Being.
Coinkidinkily, Rob had posted a lengthy excerpt from One Taste earlier in the week here on
NWV about divinely big egos in relation to the Eastern concept
of egolessness and enlightenment.
Kris returned taking more questions. Gail asked about the color purple in
a recent dream and Kris connected it with her moving through deep,
dreamless sleep states (or subjective awareness) back into the waking
state, and not quite remembering all the details of the experience. But
she was seeking nurturing from her essence to feel supported, uplifted,
and secure.
Gail nodded
throughout his answer.
Then Kris queried
Rosalie (Jo) about where her questions were? He caught her off-guard as
she was busy processing her own impressions from the session. She didn't
really have any questions she could think of off-hand, but then Kris
"threw her a bone." He mentioned a recent dream of hers, that
she didn't recall, that was related to the focus of Hildegard von Bingen,
who lived in the 11th and 12th centuries and had a big impact on the
Church. Kris connected her parents, as focuses of Kris and Joseph (Serge)
to the lineage founded in Britain by a focus of Jo's called Jessaline who
was born into a Jewish family in ancient Israel (According to Elias, I
was her brother in that lifetime, a scribe, educated, who worked in the
Temple of David named Hezekiah. We did a TFE, or trans-focal encounter
years ago and connected with those lifetimes, though Jo has had a LOT
more connections and impressions, so much so that she's been working on a
book draft based on Jessaline's life).
I later looked up
Hildegard von Bingen and noted that Kris was a couple of centuries off in
his timeline in situating that focus, which leads to all sorts of other
questions, including the fallibility of Kris, and various types of
distortion that affect the energy exchange, two issues that we have to be
diligent about.
Finally, we had
dinner. Jo made a spinach pie for an appetizer that we munched on
throughout the session. Dinner was a chicken stew with corn bread. Dessert
was tea with a Tiramisu cake. A good time was had by all. Gail and Carl
stayed until around 9:30.
Oh yes, Ellen
called back around 8:30 PM and read us the bit from last weeks local
group Toronto session with a reference to Hildegard von Bingen. So I
suspect that Kris is using that focus and its lineage to inspire us to
make further connections with other focuses, because so many of us are
connected to it in one way or another.
